Oh my god, don't tell me you were that annoying blonde ***** in the Atlas shirt yelling every 5 seconds, interrupting Bryan and disrupting the whole thing with your bad jokes every 5 seconds.

When nerds meet...

There can only be one conclusion to their repertoire now. They are going to have to sleep together.

I'm not even cool enough to be there though. I had to settle for watching you guys on the computer. :)

Soon you'll be able to gawk at a fish in your fishtank too!

To answer your question, it's still just the hanger module for now.

It'll still be a few months before it's features catch up to MWO. :)

Yeah and only a few more months after that till it surpasses MWO.

Bad? I guess taking the audience into account and the booze consumption, it would have been appropriate food. But let's not kid ourselves and think that Little Caesar's pizza is good to anyone beyond the Applebee's crowd. :)

I'm guessing you're a Franzia and Totinos kinda guy amirite?

It wasn't, he was just sitting there on the stage steps playing tetris on his phone the entire time.

Considering balance is a jigsaw puzzle and Tetris is... tetris, I hope a new module balance change fits just like the Tetris piece !

That's not what "eponymous" means. This bears stating because you tried to look smart and failed. Twice.

It's really sad since almost all browsers have tabs so you can have a thesaurus/dictionary open in another tab when you want to use "big words".

This is bad

Phil was bad, probably because he was alone most of the time

Mad respect for Paul. At least he's honest about not wanting to talk to us

They didn't even have bags for the tourney winners to carry their loot

Reading this topic is hilarious and yet scary. You have people trying to get information because they missed the lauch event and then you have people who bash MWO in response to their questions.

I don't know about you guys, but you all need a hobby. Knitting, sewing or something along the lines might be good for you, might relax you even. If you don't like it so much, why don't you just let go instead of acting like a stalking ex-lover? Not sure about you, but if I REALLY don't like something, I tend to avoid it, only addicts keep coming back for more and then complain about it and then return for an other fix all the while complaining about how bad it is. Or crazy people. Move along, it's not hard. There's still people that enjoy the game and have hope for it. It's not your God-given mission to enlighten these folk with your doom and gloom (which is entierly rational because of a post-count and a founder tag, which makes you an authority...), it's none of your business. Move along and move on. If not, then try not to pee in other people's tea-cup. And if you absolutly have to be critical of the game, then do so in a constructive manner, because you all (and you know who you are) are passing off as the epynomous apocalypse touting nut on the street corner. And who ever listens to the cooks?

I paid serious cash for that teacup, so I'll pee in it whenever I feel like it.

Speaking of the tourney winners, was that BBWolf with a joystick? Does she have carpal tunnel or something? I could've sworn I read this in the FAQ:

Quote

Q: Do I have to bring a computer, headset, mouse, keyboard, chair, etc?
A: You will not need to bring anything but yourself. Our friends at NVIDIA will be providing computers, and Razer will have some top of the line peripherals. In the spirit of equal play, participants will only be permitted to use the systems and peripherals provided. (Exceptions can be arranged if you have a disability.)

Which is why I'm betting a lot of people didn't show up with their own throttles and nostromos and sticks.

why aren't the mods permanently banning forum posters who are advocating star citizen? it's blatant soliciting of their playerbase and is not acceptable, if you don't like this game and are moving on to star citizen then leave and quit trying to steal away as many players as possible

Since when is it a bannable offense to discuss another game on a forum? Couldn't someone play both? In any case...what are you afraid of?

I am ashamed to admit that I bought MechAssault and Lone Wolf. I was desperate.

I said this game is sliding increasingly towards MechAssault. By that I meant that way graphic fidelity has been reduced, running animations got more arcadey in the last patch, modules and consumables, and other fluff, makes it feel like a PC game getting dumbed down to console level, again.

The strange lack of progress in the past 9 months could also be explained by developer time being spent on porting to consoles.

My view.

You PC gamers think you're so elite you look down on console players. Well, compared to what I am playing with on a regular basis, you all have extremely dumbed-down electronic artifacts:

So we all know pretty clearly what happened to MWO. Things were promised and then never delivered.

What I want to know is, why did it end up this way? I had naive dreams of MWO becoming almost like DUST 514. I looked forward to spending my gaming budget on fighting for territory in a dynamic galaxy. The devs clearly had much larger dreams than how things turned out. What happened?

Does PGI just not have enough staff? Did they figure out how to get enough money and stop caring about improving anything? Were the devs just truly incompetent and without vision? Or is the problem that they needed more money and couldn't get it - should MWO have been a subscription game? Can anyone tell me why PGI can't get their **** together enough to even follow the model of War Thunder or World of Tanks?

This launch party just really underscored the fact that nothing has improved in MWO in the past year . . .

This is a very good question. What happened there?

am thinking on how one would apply eponymous to the apocalypse.... Are they naming the apocalypse after themselves? Is it that the apocalypse is releasing an album titled "apocalypse"

The hobo guy could be named Apocalypse and be the main character of a movie called Apocalypse? Possibly? I dunno man, I'm stretching.

ETA: actually that's unfair, he might not be homeless, he might just be crazy but still have a home.
