What makes this sad, is this isn't even a great patch, let alone a launch day patch. A shame.

AND THEN we get another booster package for the phoenix project! ($$ only!)
AND then maybe they will balance things!
And by balance they mean
"Hey dual AC5.... Nah lets nerf that....."

Very true.
Problem is, TBH, so many of the people making some valid points, like Victor (in this instance), have such a reputation for going over the top about everything, that it's kind of hard to blame the Devs for tuning them out.
What is not so easy to grasp is how thick some of the Devs seem to be about the realities and problems in this game. Do they even play it themselves? (cause if they don't, they really don't need to be working on it)

Thing is though. You can still boat 4 large lasers. You just can't fire them simultaneously without suffering heat penalties. Whats the big deal?
I agree with one point in this thread - UI needs a helluva lot more feedback on ingame effect.
