I have won one match out of the 7 I have played since the patch.

No matter what they do the MM is going to be unblanaced until they serperats the solo and pemade queues.

Considering that the current plan is to allow up to 11-man premades in the normal queue, I wouldn't hold my breath.

It does seem to be a bit better tonight for the most part, of course this may just be a coincidence.

It's been working better for me. The matches all have been more evenly matched. Matches that come down to just a few people left between both side are becoming more common. I haven't had any "failed to find match" yet. I suppose the ones that are having problems with that are beyond the average. As for the ones complaining about it being broken, may not at the skill level they thought they were. Also, have to keep in mind that the Match Maker is also taking weight more into account as well.

Matches are still heavy as hell. It is a nightmare being a medium pilot still when the total drop tonnage is 900+ tons and 5 - 7 of the enemy mechs are potentially Assaults. Otherwise, the ELO has definitely tightened up as I'm seeing far more highly skilled players in every drop which is nice.

Now if they could only move away from there being so many darn asault and heavy mechs in a drop.

It also takes CONSIDERABLY longer to drop now if you have a very high ELO.

I think that the group weight limits will probably help this out.

The game's unplayable for me. I'm trying to drop solo, and it's Fail after Fail after Fail. Since when is it a good thing to attempt to drop a quick, casual match or two and it takes 10-15 minutes or longer to find ONE match! A pug match should take SECONDS to find. Throw me into a match, any match, please!

I know my ELO's very high... but do I need to start a secondary account to actually play the game?

FIX MATCH-MAKER PLEASE.

9 Failed Attempts in a Row... GG

I'm going to the Training Grounds, where I can actually pilot my mechs.

PUGging has cost me 0.04 off my K/D ratio and 4% off my wins over the last 3 months... I don't see the boogieman some are complaining about.

If you are really having problems like this just run a new account. With the trials now being hero mechs you are not gimped at all, though a couple modules would have been nice. Went 14/7 during primetime, though will need to get another account going in 4 games.

If I have to make a new account Id rather quit. I have gotten advanced modules and other modules am not ever going to grind out again.

TBH I'm still seeing a vast improvement over the matches I would get before. Even at midnight last night/into the AM, I didn't see too many bizarrely mismatched drops. In one instance my team faced an entire lance of DDCs + another one somewhere in their team, and we only had my lance's RS and my DDC with mostly medium/lights and a heavy or two. I went down trying to blunt their charge while the team regrouped for a flank, but the team ultimately won (though it was bloody). At one point I was dropping with 3 other people on teamspeak, and there weren't a lot of rolls either way, and when they were the worst they got was 12 to 2. Most of the time losses were very contested with the winning team losing at least half its mechs. And this was all during the very late evening and the AMs. Before that was usually a time when you'd see these incredibly lopsided games one way or the other.

Earlier during the day I solo dropped a lot and the distribution was pretty good. A lot of match outcomes that were blowouts were because one element of a team would make a bad call and get cut to pieces through bad positioning or being surprised, less the 'one team has a bunch of really good shots/etc and the other can't tie their shoelaces'. At least when I was able to see how things developed on the map and from the chatter.

Is weight/class being consider in MM after the patch?
I seems to find match faster while using medium, and MM takes much longer time for my Awesome.

Played for 15 matches tonight, and only experienced 3 rolls (winner have 8 or more survivors).

In the current state of "AssaultWarrior" Online where going heavy is the way to go, it won't actually fix the problem... if only to exacerbate it. If a lighter mech was worth taking over a heavier mech, you would see more diversity on the field. Every match for me has less than a total 4 meds+lights... so weight limits aren't going to be a cureall for a problem that is favorable to a heavier mech.

Yea... if you're hopping into an Assault mech, there's a dramatic difference in time to wait for a match than it is for something lighter. I wait more than a minute (more like 1.5 to 2) on average in an Assault, but a much shorter time in a Trebuchet (hadn't tried a light yet, but I suspect it would be much faster).

Some "semblance" of weight matching is being attempted, but due the current heavy-assault meta, there is no actual balance between the weight classes to allow the MM to work better for you.
