You see...

http://youtu.be/1fuDDqU6n4o

What we have here... Is a failure to communicate... Again...

Surprise!

In addition... I see they missed the deadline for Ask the Devs 47 answers....

Yet ANOTHER failure to communicate...

And that's the best way to get a company to listen or at least acknowledge. Speak with your wallet.

OP you might want to look at the second bullet point then retract your "demand for information" as it will likely lead to banishment.

Read the whole damn post you're quoting there. Quoting the CoC at other forum users is, infact, against the CoC. Now shoo.

I am curious as well.
Too bad I'm already through the "temporary" SRM nerf which is still in effect to a degree, so... the "temporary" cbill nerf is going to stay, but hey, the non-existent "silent majority" must be liking it, even though the real players are mostly completely put off by it.

Don't even bother asking anymore. There was a time and place for the devs to be involved with their community in a manner other than silent overlord, but that time is long past. Regardless of the sudden semi-recent upswell in command chair posts it wont be long before they're back to just 'lazy communicators' again.

It's easier to test and adjust this way: By first reducing the overall reward, we can observe the telemetry of how much less players are making overall during this period of time and thus make better judgement on the value of future rewards.

If this is honestly how they are doing it, there is going to be an epically hilarious over-adjustment if they don't take into account the fact that many of us stopped playing and/or drastically reduced how much we play and/or altered HOW we play.

Yeah true, i was giving them too much credit for the one post in forever that had actual interesting facts in it. Maybe 1 does count as an upswell when the baseline is somewhere between 0 and BS?

Honestly after two years in this community it seems like the dev communicate and interaction has become nil. They used to be very forthcoming with info now not so much. I really think they are in over their heads and don't Know how to get back on track

One could see that as an up swell given that one is more than nothing. :)

Pffft PGI has in my mind turned into a used car dealership, willing to say what it takes to get our money but pushing lemmons,What real statements have been made about the UI/Community Warfare/Clans recently?I'am talking even a simple"we ran into manpower issuses" or "we discovered a bug" god forbid PGI tells us their IDEA of what the F'ing Heck Community Warfare is.Seriously what is going to happen if MechWarrior's Community Warfare turns out to be a poor copy of W.o.t.s' clan warfare. So many players have their own ideas/hopes of what cw will be an PGI has done nothing to curb it an lets us not forget the blow-up over the "MIS-QUOTE" about paying to play CW.That forum meltdown that lead (maybe/tin foil hat) to the current format of the forums.

look at war thunder. making money and buying new planes and upgrading them costs next to nothing (in game currency) but it seems to be doing really well with its cash shop purchases as well. Not to mention the stuff on their cash shop is so much cheaper. 20-30 dollars for a single mech seems ridiculously expensive to me :x

Pictures or or didn't happen.

Frankly, that's not possible, even with the current system.. 50% premium AND 30% hero bonus.

The highest C-bill values are under 200k before bonuses.

Assuming we get the fortune of getting 200k...

200,000 * 1.3 (hero) * 1.5 (premium) = 390,000

I'm pretty sure the support guy was a comma spot off instead.

Not to stir anything up. I have earned 220k+ without hero or premium since nerf, and a number guys I play with have also.
*However there was like 25 spotting bonus and an usually large salvage bonus, with like 1 kill 11 assist. Adv for me is around 160k on a nothing special match.

But the reduction really is not good for new players (or any actually). The grind of this game should be content, not engines or modules.
