What Are You Starving For?

For me the top priority is CW. This game has absolutely no storyline or even anything to accomplish other than bragging about how well you did or how high your k/d and elo are and collecting mechs for your hangar. On the flipside I could care less about adding more mechs, vanity items, consumables, etc. at this point. They add absolutely nothing to the game or it's playability

It's a team based game. The actual "role warfare" PGI talked about so long ago would mushroom overnight if I could talk to my teammates. Scouts could actually be able to scout. Tactics would be feasible. I could actually connect with players in-game who share an interest in MechWarrior. It just feels so lonely and, frankly, stupid that I'm playing with 23 other people and I can barely communicate with them. I've even left my right alt key unbound- resisted, in fact, binding it to a function- in the hopes that voice coms were around the corner. When so many other CryEngine games have that feature, I fail to understand what is stopping MWO from doing the same. It's a team game, I want to feel part of a team. I will put up with soooo much else if I can find people to enjoy the game with again, but it's run off so many of my friends...
Why I put Consumables at the bottom of the list:
I don't think they belong in this game, as they are. Air and Artillery Strike are, apparently, not worth the effort and cost as I NEVER see them used. UAVs disappeared a while back, when ECM was tweaked and people calmed down about ECM a bit. Coolant Flush is a crutch at best for people who either don't know how to manage heat, or continue to insist on boating things like ERPPCs. When there's a way around the heat scale, which is meant to be the primary balancing system of the game, it's going to remain difficult or impossible to balance. Even if it's at the cost of module slots or a limited use system, to me, it remains feeling like a cheat. Then again, I use Adv. Seismic, too, so maybe I've no room to talk.

I didn't vote cw cause MwO has become my soccer. Each game is a fun experience and I play for the sake of playing, not for virtual rewards.
Collision least cause of the massive amount of work it will require that could be spent on cw, UI 2.0, tutorials, etc.
I did not vote vanity items as last on the list cause a) art department can't code b ) sales of items help pay the saleries of the ones who can code

Pilot Avatars. People I can customize and associate with. They'd give me an emotional connection to the game.
Decals. Still waiting.
Camos. There are a few I like but only one I bought by accident.
Weapon quirks based off manufacturer.
funtional in game displays.
Dropship Mutator.
Community Warfare,
Role Warfare
more game modes.
The Warhammer
The Marauder
The Clans.
Private Lobbies.
critical hits that mean something. leg actuator, arm hits, etc.
its to late in the morning to go on and the list of 'I wish" is to long.
But take heart. PGI has delievered on one promise. We got everything promised in the founder's package.

Elo stretch is too tight, there doesn't seem to be hardly anyone online in my Elo bracket right now.

Actually this is a good list of cool **** with little half baked gameplay ideas.

Switch up weight classes if you get into this problem

With assaults I usually have to run against/with the A-crowd, but with mediums I get a bit easier time (more fun for a change) as my elo in them is a lot lower.

Pinching from World of Tanks match types could be
Encounter - red and blue fight over the one capture point who ever caps first wins or defeats the other side completely
Assault (WoTs version) - one side defends a single capture point the other attacks with in a time limit
And a quick idea that just occurred to me
Raid - Defender must protect a number of important objectives (warehouses, facilities etc) for a period of time. The attacker must destroy as much as possible in a set time limit. time limit is tight and completing object must reward more than kill all mechs.
Also map types that promote different styles of play in stead of close range brawls most of the time

There isn't much room for solo players in the queue around these Elo parts even in mediums. Best solution I have is go on comstar or NGNG and pick up randoms/new players to level me out a bit

What I need most and the 15 to 25% of players who use/will use a Joystick is the have Analog Turn's Gain and Sensitivity match or closer match to the Twist and Tilt. Right now if I bump the Turn axis my mech spins around, about 90 degrees. Try hitting anything like that. And I can't understand why this has not been fixed in the past 6 months or so since we got Analog Turn in the game. If you use a Joystick or would rather be using one this is a do or die issue.

In-game VOIP at the bottom of the list. Don't take this the wrong way:
1. I'm not interested in listening to people on comms, I much prefer to hear the environmental sound effects (ie. the pitter-patter of a light mech sneaking up behind you, people narrowly missing you with Gauss rounds from afar). If in-voice comm is supported, I will have it disabled 100% of the time.
2. If you really need in-voice comms to be a team player, get on teamspeak and join a premade. The rest of us are quite capable Puggers and can follow leads / get organized by observing teammate and enemy behaviour, etc. You really don't need to say something in words which can be communicated by actions.
