In Game Rants Need To Stop

Despite some anger among this community, the in game rants, insults, and general bad attitudes (disconnects for spite, etc.) really needs to stop.
It doesn't do any good; if you are in premades, this is not for you as I assume you guys/gals are having the most tactical fun.
In the pug environment, as we get new players, the level of animosity is astounding and just not called for.
We have new players coming every day, and those still trying to get the hang of it.
If you complain so much about everything and derail the games, you are suffering from not being part of a premade.
In pug, there is no real communication, it is the learning grounds, plan and simple.
The true worth of the game is in the premade arena and is what we should all strive for (this is, beyond popular opinion, a thinking game, and pug is not where that is).
I am tired of the negativity from people who will not advance their own self worth, join premades, or except the pug life.
You, basically, just plain suck.

At least I am not going crazy with rants (just sucks is all).
It does nothing for the game but cause discontent. and I like the Mordor Map, just saying.
Oh, and the forum is what ranting is about... no one cares if you chat it up and complain there; it is just distracting, detracting from the game experience.
PGI - do not implement ingame comms without MUTE; please!

I agree.
I think have a rather low ELO, W/L average (45%- 50%win roughly) and I don't see any of the complaining that you have seen Aphoticus. I wonder how low (or high) it has to go in order to see what you are talking about?

We see what route they seem to be taking, any negativity that is out there hurting new player retention can be laid pretty squarely at the feet of the Developers because they refuse to address it in a meaningful way.
People will continue to rage as long as they feel that they are being ignored and/or abused by the Developers, right or wrong.
Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

How many times do any of you still see people NOT targeting something they're shooting at (with R), or continue to fire weapons at incorrect ranges?
PGI gave us an in-game "commander tool" to provide direction and guidance. Most of the time, I try to call out damaged units, locations, target-designators, all in attempt to help the PUG team succeed (and possibly learn something).
I often try to be helpful, and provide guidance for my team (*and* the opponents, which I won't do any more, now that it's "live"), but I have been told that it's not helpful. Which, is sometimes true, in that some people just can't be helped.
**Edit - PGI should cater to HELPINGthe low-skill players (people that come from console-game FPS's and never use a keyboard+mouse for gaming) who can't do 2 things at once, if they want to keep them here longer. After all, these are their "golden-ticket target market audience" players.

The single best thing that PGI could do to help the new player experience and reduce roflstomps in pug games...
Built in voice comms, like every freakin' other modern game....
