Sliding Heat Penalities Not Ghost Heat!

Why not balance around how the game SHOULD be and not a bandaid? Currently there is no difference between running at 0% heat and 99% heat.

Sure there is. One more shot at 99% and you shut down.
But yes running at higher heat should/(and will) cause penalties. Slower turn rate/torso speed or whatever TT mentions.

why not sliding heat penalties WITH ghost heat?.. neither mechanic has to overlap with the function of the other.

While were at the heat discussion. Have anyone managed to do a decent energy build of an Stalker after all the heat nerfs? I cant do anything With it, other than medium lasers. And 6 medium lasers vs hunchses With 9, meh, so much for this powerfull Assault mech. No, the Stalker is useless now, exept as a LRM platform where it can still do some desent damage. In my opinion, the Whole point of Assault mechs is that they should be Dangerous. Now they're usually just easy to hit targets unless they come loaded With balistics......
