Matches Are Horribly One-Sided

I hate to say this.. but that's working as intended for the most part.
If only there were better in-game tools like voice chat or even voice macros to improve the state of communication... or lack thereof.

Here's the pattern I've been seeing:
The other team is ALWAYS coordinated, and they always focus fire on individual targets.
Most of the teams I've been on don't support you, or they split up, and they almost never use any coordinated tactics. It seems to suggest that the matchmaking system is not working as intended, and is pairing up new/subpar players against elite players.

Sure there is the occasional ROFLSTOMP, but a lot of the matches i've been seeing have been pretty close... relatively speaking (Greater than 3/4 of the mechs destroyed on both sides), I've also seen matches where the the board was even until late in the game (7m or greater) and the loss of a single mech caused a cascade that led to a lopsided loss, but it wasn't because of "PUGs being PUGS", it was strictly due to one team getting out maneuvered.
I've come up with a theory that, if you constantly find yourself on lousy teams... maybe the team isn't the problem.

There was good for a day or two after launch, then returned to stomp territory. I suspect they backed off most of the 'narrowing' of the matchmaker. Would be interested to see if high Elo players are still having trouble finding matches.
While my win/loss ratio seems to be holding steady, I'm seeing a lot more 'bad lance' issues where a lance or two on one team has no business being in the match. I mean sub 100 dmg across the entire lance.
I still have some small hope that when CW comes out, then maybe we'll get a decent population going and things will get better.

Not saying matches can't be closer but the game can't balance people.

YES! I'm sick of losing 90% of my matches. Even if I take myself out of the equation like a disconnect, the team I'm on shouldn't lose so CONSISTENTLY! Rage quitting is becoming the norm.

Founder and you loose 90% of your matches?
Have you tried Farmville?

I think a few times you might be seeing this, it does happen, if there are not enough ppl on, the elo is widened a bit, but generally for me the matches have been, almost consistently, of a much higher quality since launch.

Random matchmaking is random. Looking at my three Cataphracts which have the weirdest distribution of stats:
Illya has 83 matches and 1.59 W/L ratio
-3D has 72 matches and 1.00 W/L ratio
-4X has 88 matches and 0.57 W/L ratio (I had absolutely atrocious loss streak when I started it, 2/24 after first two days. I was desperate enough to make a post asking for help on forums...)
My total W/L for last 900-1000 matches is almost exactly 1:1.

It's a combination of 2 things: very high (or very low) Elo, and running an assault. With weight limits and all the people running 85+ ton mechs, if you want to run an assault, you're going to have issues.
Hop in a hunchback if the wait is too long, and that will probably change things dramatically. And to be honest, this is a good thing. Anything to reduce the number of assaults that are out there is good for the game.

Respawn-enabled modes would too "Call of Doody" (even though respawns were invented by Doom in 1993) so you're just going to have to suck it up and learn to enjoy stomps.

I don't feel like it's random at all. I actually prefer the premade stomps/stompings over what I've been seeing about 1 week after the Beta label was removed.
