I've been rolling with these guys for about a month now. This is a great group of fellas where the emphasis is on character and not the most recent "META" build. What did that mean to you? No forced builds for your Mechs and fun filled time.
Other notes:
-Raidcall was originally a concern for me. It is super easy to use. Login and set your push to talk button.
-there is almost always 4-16 players on at a time during NA evenings. Many times more than 24 during set event nights.
-Raidcall is setup structure wise for pilots looking for a match. Most folks are very proactive in approaching folks in that Channel with invites. ALL are great when folks pop in asking for invites.
-Mech the Dane and other officers are great at setting up events. Most recent was the Bloodsmoot 1v1 tournaments.
-Competitive 12 man is available. Note that the meta build is not the chosen path... So success against those prebuilt teams can be marginal at this point in time (best to set your competitive expectations).
-Practice nights for 12 man against Carrion Crows exists.
-There is light role-play in so far as alot of pride is taken in playing FRR and the back story to the company's formation. It is also used to support player run events (eg, Bloodsmoot).
-last but not least, Isengrim has an active and fully functional website with updates and news.
Hopefully not too wordy, but it is my comprehensive review of my experience.
See you on the battlefield...
