Hey guys,

There already are some loadouts for the HGN-733 in this forum. But due to the recent changes and the launch, I thought it would be a good idea to reopen this topic.

I know most people don't like to read long posts, so I will start with a conclusion of what a want before going into detail.
I'm looking for a loadout for the Highlander HGN-733. It is supposed to be focusing on close range fights. This is what looked nice to me so far: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...c66b5350b0cf097

So, let's come to the details. I am looking for a loadout for my second Highlander. I'm going for 3 Highlander over all, mainly for the elite- and master-perks. My first Highlander is a HGN-733C and looks like this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...05f1e42b7eefbba It's a great Mech and I am not likely to change anything soon. But I want my two other Highlander to fulfill other roles in our team. So I'm thinking of going for a brawler-build next. For that purpose I think the HGN-733 is quite the best choice. I thought of building it up like this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...c66b5350b0cf097
I love XL-Engines as they allow me to carry a lot more heavy arms and other stuff. As a Brawler, it might be the squishier choice, but still it allows a lot more firepower, which is more important to me. I'm using the biggest engine, since I don't want to be too slow. I just hate running around like a crippled...
Unfortunatly the 733 can't carry a AC/20, so the obvious choice is a AC/10 or a LB X. In this loadout I chose the AC/10, though I am able to trade it (plus a Heatsink) for a LB X.
As energy weapons I chose the two Medium Laser. They are very light and still quite good in close range fights.
As every Brawler imo wishes for, all the missile hardpoints are packed with SRM6. I think the Artemis would be a really nice addition. I wish to actually damage a single bodypart and not just spread the damage all over the opposing mech. But it costs 4 tons and 4 slots, so I'm not that sure about the Artemis just yet. I chould also use those tons for 2 Jump Jets, which might be quite nice to have for a Brawler, too.
Let me refer to the last piece, the AMS, here. I really don't know any better use for 1,5 tons and 2 slots. Plus there are a lot of guys with LRMs out there...

All in all, what do you say to this loadout? Any harsh mistakes? Any suggestions for improvements?

Let's hear it and thank you in advance :)

move the torso mounted ac 10 ammo to the arms. Otherwise nice mech.

I'd strongly recommend even a single jump jet - it just increases your options over ground-bound mechs like the Atlas.

Nice builder overall.

I might trade 2 of them for the artemis. I never tried it so far, so let's see what impact on my game the artemis has.
