Not sure if I'd buy a Gold plated mech even if it was affordable.
Seems to me that would just make you into a nice gold-plated target.

The sentiment of most who have posted in their feedback thread... might as well be a spotlight on them.

Gents,
Put on your reading glasses and check out the preliminary on how PGI plans to implement Clan Technology:

This whole Clans fiasco really has me scratching my head and wondering what they were thinking...

In my opinion, the most important part is at the end of the article. For Clan omnimechs, current plans are to not allow changing any of these items:
  • The engine type and rating
  • The number and placement of a minimum number of heatsinks
  • The amount and distribution of armor
  • The armor type and the location of any critical slots occupied by Ferro-Fibrous
  • The internal structure type and the location of any critical slots occupied by Endo Steel
  • Enhancements such as MASC
  • The occasional weapon or other piece of equipment (e.g. jump jets) that is included as part of the base configuration
So if that mech comes with 25 points of armor on its rear CT, you will not be able to move any of it to the front. Or if that favorite mech w/ XL engine only comes with 50% armor on its side torsos, you won't be able to change that either. Eh, guess we'll have to wait and see, but I'm not sure I like that.

So much for clan mech superiority. Even if I was foolish enough to buy this package I would be driving my head in the wall if I just found out about this little gem after a laid down cold hard cash for the pretty pixels delivered in June. I love you Mad Cat but will have to find a backup IS mech to shred you :D

The Knight Wardens are now recruiting!
We are a group of individuals with Christian values, who come together in a family friendly environment. Treating others with a high degree of respect and dignity is our trademark.

While being competitive is something we strive towards, our greater goal is to build friendships. The game simply provides the conduit for that.

Mechwarrior Online is currently our game of choice. However, many of us look forward to the highly anticipated Star Citizen.

If you are interested in becoming part of our group, feel free to contact me or fill out an application at http://knightwardens...com/application.

See you on the battlefield!

So thankful for the new pilots who have joined us over the past couple of weeks... they have brought an energy and excitement to the community that only makes me want to log on and be around them all even more! Here is some more Christmas cheer and a great rendition of a traditional song:

Well I had hoped to be playing a buggy version of UI 2.0 or at least maybe some extensive content but with the "New Road Map". I guess we will have to settle for the same old same old.

Guys, you should read this. It's lengthy, but informative:
http://mwomercs.com/...ge__pid__300226

And yes, they said it. They finally committed to a date for UI 2.0: Feb 4th. Now let's see if they can keep it!

And a second piece of important information:

Quote

Confidence is very high that worst case scenario is the completion of the entire Community Warfare feature set as we currently understand it by Early to Mid-fall.

And at least they acknowledge our frustration:

Quote

Of course you may very well still be in a position where you don’t believe the estimates or are unwilling to believe until some more of these dates are achieved and you have the features in your hands. That is completely fair and at Piranha we are just going to be focused on delivering and earning your patronage back into MWO as soon as possible.

Well at least they gave us firm deadlines. We need to just carry on with practices like we are doing. So that we can be ready for CW.

On a side note we welcome Beefmaster to our ranks. Glad to have you sir.
