It sacrifices some armor, but to fit a standard 350 you gotta sacrifice something. It's got decent heat efficiency and really good damage inside 270m.

Nice design - face smasher with a nice big engine!

I'd lose the SRMs and the CT MLs in favor of a CT ERLL. I dislike the LB/SRM combination, it's difficult to aim two spread-fire weapons of different ranges and velocities. An ERLL would give more reach to scratch those hard-to-reach places.

Welcome to Closed Beta before the weapons were screwed over... nothing like Goons rushing teams of fast atlas shotguns straight into you for max effect...

The problem is you need a team willing to move fast with you and support this beast, and for that job I would rather rely on a Victor lance that has the same firepower but are just as fast and more maneuverable. Still a few of these will give anyone pause.

Ive been running a dual LBX AS-D for a month or so now since the guass nerf.

Its great fun, I run mine with 2xERLL in each arm, 2xLBX and an AMS and thats it.

IMO with that firepower the medium lasers bring nothing to the table, the ERLL still work at 10m range.

My only gripe with it right now is the hit reg on the LBX's is terrible, keep smacking lights straight in the face with it at point blank range for them to run off with 0 damage.

I like this a bit better, simply because I get really annoyed at hit registration with SRMs right now. It takes 6 tons to go from a 325 to a 350, so I only like to run the 350 with certain loadouts.

Why Would you have more armor in the legs than your shield arms in an Atlas?

My DDC Atlas uses the same engine (STD 350) and has more armor number as your D but my ARms are maxed... I rarely get Legged in an Atlas...

Also while I love the LBx-10s (on my Dragon) they are nerfed so I use AC/20 in the Atlas...

I gotta say though... even though they suck... it is fun to use the LBx-10s.....

I use 350s in my two atlai it makes a the difference, I agree you need to have some LL so you can soften armour before you get into effective shotgun range.

Well this build could be buffed by needing less weight once the LB20-X is released!!

The "insanely fast Atlas" rush, including off-the-wall builds like still has its place. Ran into an Atlas lance the other day, clearly premade, one of each Atlas, all of them moving at high speeds, so probably packing standard 350's. That didn't end well for our side. Yes, all 4 Atlas were killed... after they basically wiped out everyone else. It was a neat sight, though - 4 of them moving at a good clip, all working together.
