PGI gave every mech a C3i already. Kinda against this and miss actually having radar, but it is what it is....

Either better sensor information or build in viop. Best both.

This is the C3 system they needed. It does everything you need and nothing you don't although the brief description only covers a fraction of its design potential. Whatever your tactics or style of play, this system would help you do it better.

Err... every mech in this game gets a C3 master system for free... C3 allowed you to share sensor information among units in a lance. All mechs in MWO do this if you just target a mech. The only thing of (questionable) value a C3 unit could add is the ability to target all mechs in sensor range of 1 mech. Several people have suggested this as a module for 'scouts' to use.
Yes that should be the advantage of using scout(light) mechs , not lame ultra speed brawler figther like the jenner is.

More like a primitive C3 DocBach gave a good suggestion on how C3 could work.

I think a quick chat circle key might be useful - a bit like in team fortress 2 or Natural selection 2. you hold in the Z key and a circle appears with diffrent comments eg 'stick together team' or when you can actually see an enemy and hold the Z key whilst over them you have the option of 'enemy spotted'
Its much quicker than typing and gives people who dont use a mic the ability to get information to the team fast.
