Pgi: Please Pay Attention To Details Raised In Reviews And Rock The Launch Party

Pricing, every proper review has raised the issue of item pricing here. Community has raised the same issue, if you intend to avoid the stamp of expensive mmo to play, do something quickly. Slash prices in launch event and get people buying and reviewers commenting that prices are good/reasonable (Or preferaby, not commenting about prices at all)... now only thing priced reasonably is a mech bay.
Community warfare, I know.. this has been talked through and trough... but when reviews say game is lacking in something to keep players engaged and talk about it being endlessly delayed. Something needs to be done to avoid PR disaster. Give a vision and timeframe what's coming... something else other than "after ui2.0", we as well as reviewers need this info.
Tutorials and UI help, again points that shout how badly and quickly UI2.0 is needed. And tutorials really are not an afterthought.
Lots of other things as well, but these are so direly needed that launch event is really the only place you can fix things before bad press.
Launch party is THE place to announce things and give promises that you'll hold, not give vague wishy washy. I bet that after that party some reviews are gonna come out, holding out if something is going to be announced.
If not, it is not looking good.
I sincerely hope you have something in your backpocket and I'm going to be positively surprised, that silence is just something big cooking up.
I'd like this game to be around years to come.

However, you didn't scream for something to get nerfed...so they won't even read it.
You're adorable if you think otherwise.

Even though it kind of is a rabble....
Guess this is all wishful thinking before launch party, if powers that be need accidentally to read something and realize that they forgot something little.
Though, more propably. Titanic has already left the port and all is up to the guy on the watch, but I guess he doesn't read forums...
Anyway, should I end up on the lifeboat, I can take some time off from MWO and come back later

No offense FM but do you really think MW:Os audience is the same as GTA?
Lot of things PGI struggles with and are inarguable... but busting their chops over a parallel launch with GTA seems pretty picheunie...

Uh, yeah. I used to play this game.
And I'm about to go spend $60 dollars on GTA 5.
Which would get me a super-nerfed heavy metal, a couple mech bays, an oversized medium, and maybe a paint and skin for it.
PGIs launch meant nothing and was a terrible idea.

Strawman...
Am I to conclude that if the launch was some sort of freak-circus spectacle with nothing but pure wins all around you would not be purchasing GTA?

People only have so much disposable income to spend on games each month.

Reviews are in.
And they're saying what we in the forums have been saying ever since Closed Beta.
PGI have insulated themselves from the customer base. In their minds, we're either ''on an island'' or ''not the target demographic'' or ''not reflective of the data''. If they wanted to take notice of the input their customers try to give them in the forums, they would have done so well before now.
My impression is that PGI are going to try to sustain The Illusion of Soon™ as long as they can, milking dollars out of Hero Mechs and Phoenix-like packs, until they inevitably fold under when cashflow will no longer sustain servers+salaries any longer.
We'll know for sure once we've seen what they reveal at the 30 minute (!) presentation during the Launch Party. If it's still all just promises and forward commitments, then we'll know that we will never see the game that we were promised two years ago.

30 minute presentation...
I do wish them the best of luck for the event but I hope they throw the playerbase a bone and show something with some real content.

I still would of bought GTA: 5 for sure but I also would of dropped money on the MC needed to purchase the Protector when it came out.
As it is I have GTA 5 and have played 5 matches of MWO since launch, I know because I can check the challenge completion

As far as CW itself, there was not much new info. Most of it was similar to http://mwomercs.com/...mmunity-warfare or things they said in podcasts and interviews. The biggest takeaway I got about CW is that it is still in the concept phase, there has been no work done as far as implementing it into the game. Bryan said it was six months from completion, but I think it has been six months from completion for a year now.
...
I did not realize that most of the stuff presented actually came in slightly modified form from that far as that link, huh!
And the bounty bit felt like something quickly pulled out of EVE playbook.
Guess it's time to take a couple weeks off, then come see the new mechs. Get some game off Steam, shame that gta PC version is propably ways off.
I won't pull the overlord package, even though all sense screams at me to get money out of it before ***** hits it.
At least I won't take part in coup de grace, call this my bet on btech.
Needed a break from grind anyway, now they gave it on a platter.

1: UI 2.0 in the next 4 weeks.
2: CW within the next 6 months.
Once UI 2.0 is finished it will allow them to move programers off 2.0 and onto CW.
If you cant wait that long. Do us all a favor and take a break from the game and most importantly the forums.. The "PGI is not talking to us, not giving us what we want NOW and Im a founder I deserve special treatment" is getting really old and repetitive.

So is the "you should just shut up and let me talk about ow great the game is because I like it and don't care what your opinion on it is."

Remember when the "awesome thing" we knew was that CW would be in shortly after open beta?
Yeah, me too.

Actually I was really surprised, I didn't remember that dev blog had been quite similar so long time ago (guess it was broken link, I meant this)
Thank you very much, I've been quite happy with my founders package and I don't need any of your self-righteous bull-{Scrap} insinuating what I didn't actually say. Yes, I am worried that we don't really get new information at the best damn PR opportunity, which in turn is affecting reviews coming out, which won't do any good for the game.
No wonder the atmosphere in forums is downright poisonous when both extremes of love-hate pgi divide need to get personal to tell others how to do, feel or where to go... I'll just respond in kind; Really, crawl back under whichever bridge you climbed up from.
