Well it looks like you haven't gone Assault class yet. Maybe there's something in there that will interest you? I'm partial to Victors and Highlanders myself.

I haven't gone assault class because I haven't really done well with them the few times I've taken them out. A highlander may work, though. What do you think about the project pheonix mechs? Also, I'm not really wanting to drop any cash on the mechs. They would all be cbill purchases over an extended period of time.

Locust will be terrible (without MASC)
Shadowhawk could be cool, very hunchie-like, with JJs
Thunderbolt and Battlemaster, while sexy, look like they may suffer from Awsome "wideness". Battlemaster has great hard points.

When does the shadowhawk come out in all its variants? It sounds like a fun mech.

November for C-bill versions, October for people who bought into the Phoenix Project.

Thanks much for the info. I think I may just try a shadowhawk.

You can alway pick up a cheap Mech like the Commando, to grind up while waiting for the Shadowhawk. I'm always leveling something up, even if I'm not a fan of the chassis- it makes the game a little more interesting having mastered a {Scrap}-load of Mechs.

I must say that while I never really gave stalkers, awesomes and atlas much of a chance, I managed to do quite well in highlanders and victors.

The phoenix mechs will all be pretty interesting, I'm going to love trolling around in the locust... easily the worst mech in the game without masc.. maybe even with it :P

I had the same thought about the locust. Running about annoying people for no good reason, they probably won't even bother shooting at it. Could be quite fun :D

The problem I have with the atlas and stalker mechs is that I start to feel invulnerable and go all Leroy Jenkins. Just can't help myself even though I know better.

Well, you have lights, mediums, and heavies covered. Next mech should probably be an Assault mech.

I prefer the Victor myself. It isn't as Munchkin as running around in an Atlas. Personally, I will never run an Atlas. I don't want people thinking I cannot compete unless I have the biggest mech in the game.

Well, that doesn't make you any different than the rest of us, LOL!
