Reasons:
-too much heat generated
-dmg spreads

-the missiles are retardly slow , when you have to lead a slow atlas at 200m moving sideways there is a huge problem with the weapon

they should make them semi homing or way faster
oh i changed them to lrm 5-s on my cent , that says all , and lrms without artems are crappy too
I'm feeling some of the unviableness with my splatcat, the heat is a but more than i'd like but thats with alternating 3 at a time. mostly its how easy they get destroyed, i've got a QQ thread on that tonight. their speed and delay combined is fun imo but really hard to get down with the recoil after taking balistic damage or jets.
the spread is good for supporting, maybe straifing shots but yeah its takes too much damage to kill via spread. if artemis gave halfa$$ homing it'd be kinda nice and help with the issues but that's ssrm territory. range is very forgiving on some maps, fatal on others.
Overall its a low slot, high ammo/ton side weapon for when slow mechs get in your personal bubble. AC10 might be better overall but its fits the light weapon niche.
