So, I had a crit leg, so I believe I landed in lava and it got blown out in the landing, which was fine... except that I believe I got off of it and for some reason I started losing the torso armor from the side of the leg I lost... and I immediately died due to having an XL engine.

There's a state change that's not made (being off lava) so the damage transfer routines are being applied and... well, you can see the result yourself.

I don't understand the issue here.

If you have a lost leg, and you take damage in the leg, it will transfer to the torso of the same side. Regardless if lava, SRMs, or collision is happening.

Pay attention to the fact that I was out of the lava. I even bothered to JJ to avoid taking damage, but that didn't stop the damage from continuing.

Were you still in the taking damage from heat zone on the heat scale?

I'm not sure... I'll have to rethink what I remember (it was a freak accident but I'll see about reproducing it)... I tried to use JJs to stop the damage, but that didn't do a thing (the damage kept continuing). The heat wasn't a problem at the time though.

There are patches of lava that isn't part of those "lava rivers", so it's kinda hard to tell sometimes.
