I want bloody glowing red eyes back on my Atlas
I'm ok with the toggle, but i prefer the fading from long range

Ok they can still happen - but given the visible range most won't even see your red eyes - because they are running heat vision, or night vision (Why those modes are called vision at all, they don't improve the "vision")
And at > 700m no Alpha i can imagine can destroy a Atlas head in one shot

The default colour setting could be used for those wanting lore authencity.
Also If the Atlas for example would be more badass with glowing cockpit glass eyes. The it should also be buffed in structure, armor and added weapons slots, as for mostly all assaults.

When you march towards the enemy dont turn on the glowing eyes but when you make THE push turn on them eyes and the enemy team can see them glow brighter and brighter with each enemy mech that falls victim to the Atlas.
Glowing Eyes Of Impending Doom!
The Direwolf has nothing on the Atlas with those eyes!

Get the glowing eyes on the same button and get things working as intended again. It's not like anything else on the Atlas uses that command.
