Ammo in the arm is bad. You're better off with it in a Torso.

Hi, Sorry to Hijack this thread but I figure i'd use this thread instead of starting a New One.

I Currently Have the Default 4 Mechbays but I play on buying the 1250MC Pack to Buy more Mechbays (Would give me enough for 4 Mechbays with 50 MC Left Over) when I can. anyway, I have the 3 Raven Variants I'm currently working on Mastering, Once I get them elite I plan on Mastering and keeping the -3L and -4X and Selling the -2X after stripping it that would free up 1 Mechbay Slot. I Also have a Trebuchet TBT-3C with everything Basic and IIRC about 20K Mech EXP, I found out tonight I don't need to get all the other 4 Trebs up to Basic to elite my -3C, any 2 Mediums would be all I would need so to get to the Point, What 2 Medium Mechs would you people recommend to get and what Mediums are the Best Bang for the Buck? after I get the 2 other Mediums if I have a spare Mechbay slot or 2 I might see about getting a Heavy, so what Heavys would you guys say are the best bang for the buck?

If you want to stick with Medium mechs, you may want to wait for the Shadow Hawk and Wolverine to be added.
They are 55 tonners that I think would be much stronger than the Hunchback because of 5 extra tons.

I find Heavy mechs more worth it than Medium mechs.
Jagermechs, Cataphracts and Orions can all move as fast as a Hunchback while carrying more weapons and armor.

I would think about buying the phoenix package as well if you can muscle up the dough for at least the 2nd tier. You'll get the Locust and Shadow Hawk, and the variants you don't like you can eventually sell for the empty mech bays.

Otherwise, buy more bays and finish the Trebs. You don't need all 5, but you do need 3 of them to unlock Elites. Once you're done with them, figure out which ones you'll keep and see how many open bays you have.

well I Likely won't be able to purchase a Phoenix Package (Unless someone is nice enough to buy one for me) in time, all I could possibly afford is 1250MC, and then the shadow hawk standard version release date is set for November 19th 2013 with the wolverine standard version being released on March 18th 2014 and Griffin Standard version Feb 18th, 2014.

Fair enough (I had to check the price on that package, so yeah, I can understand that). I might also suggest seeing if you can save up for either the Phoenix packagage, or the next step up in the MC package (3000 MC is 10 mech bays for just over twice the price of the 1250 package), but it's up to you on how you spend your money.

Just Bought the 1250 MC Package and bought 1 Mechbay for now. I Currently Have 5.6Mil Cbills so I can get any medium currently in game except for the Heros and Champs and the CDA-3M, CN9-D, TBT-3C (That I already own) and the TBT-7M

Edit: I Would Prefer a AC/20 Medium that can travel at 100kph and have 3-4 Tons of ammo minimum to last a match with Energy Weapon Backup, Willing to sacrifice Speed down to 75kph before Speed Tweak if needed.
BTW, How's this Setup for the hunchback-4H?: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...02bac7df5c487db

Edit 2: Just asked Phil of NGNG during the IGP Stream on Twitch, He Recomended the BJ-1 or a HBK (4G or 4H), then found out from Chat that I got to stick with Trebs if I'm to Master Them.
