I am wondering if your mouse dislike is due to the way MW:O fails to slow sensitivity in zoom ins.
What you want is a good gaming mouse; popular brands include Logitec, Microsoft, Razor.. but that doesn't matter as much as the fact you have a Selectable DPI button.
That's key. When I want to fine tune my aim in MW:O I smack the low DPI button. When I want to brawl and snap shot, I smack my high DPI button.
A lot of games do this automatically but here, it's always been manual. Definitely the best way to play over all other control methods, but having a good game mouse is absolutely key here, more than most games.
