Atlas D-DC is the best Atlas by far, in my opinion. Here is my current setup, I'm slow and hot but I'm using my weapons at different times the heat is very manageable. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...8a5ba931d9e28ed

Looks promising, but I have found you get more bang for your buck wish SRMs, which really help with close range punch. They are especially useful for putting someone down who you have already armor stripped with the AC/20, as the shotgun-like spread of the SRMs is likely to at least partially hit an armorless torso. They work wonders on those "zombie" mechs who keep twisting so you can't get a killing shot on their damaged areas. I also switched to LLs in favor of ERLLs because I can run less heatsinks and cram a bigger engine and slightly better SRMs in the mech. The bigger engine also saves me some space because I can put an extra heat sink in the engine, and I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) that heatsinks in the engine are more efficient than those outside it???

it is my support/still bring pain. Good for pugs but with a team it is much better! 30 lrms is effective even in pugs, just lose your srm punch!

Jesus, a guy puts a thread up saying how much he likes a mech build is enthusiastic about the game, which is a refreshing change from alot of jaded founders, and all most of you can do is put the guy down and play my ones bigger than yours..

Glad your enjoying the game OP

Ah, it's OK. Haters gon' hate, as they say. It disturbs me not. My love affair with the Atlas D-DC continues regardless. Thanks for the kind words!

The D-DC is nice.... but she will never compare to my first love. That sultry maiden known as awesome, with her wide curves and voluptuous ppc boobies. mmmmm
