Low Framerate? Tell us about it here!

Please attempt to respond to the following questions in your responses:
  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)

Edit: I have discovered this maybe due to a dodgy overclock setting. That's what happens when your patches take more than an hour ;)

Noticed much lower frame rates @ 5760x1080. Was getting an average of 115~130 FPS @ Max settings.
Now getting 60~75 FPS

My setup:
I7-3770K @ 4.8Ghz
EVGA 780 Classified
16Gb G.Skill Sniper @ 1866Mhz
Asus P8Z77-v Pro

Connection 90~100Mbps/South Eastern United States.

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?

Feels a little smoother now, slight to no performance increase
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.

Seems to be smoother when looking at certain areas on maps, less drastic fps decreases when looking at certain objects / objects with players behind
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?

High Settings, No AA, no change
  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)

    Menus: ~50 fps (some sudden changes though) / Ingame: 20-60 @ 1920x1080

Performance is the same.
Connectivity: losing connection, pinging out, disconnecting even from UI.

patch went by smooth as silk.

Regarding FPS, i observed no change at all, very smooth 28...32ish FPS in game on all maps including Crimson State, forgot to remember the FPS in menu, i may update. All settings maxed out, no change here for me (GTX670M w. 1.5 GB rAM, i73610Q, 16 GB RAM, win7 64 bit, 4 Mbit/s DSL line).

Made like maybe 5 quick games, no disconnect from anyone, no freeze and surprisingly no whining in game :D.

Love the new map :D and all colours look a bit fresher to me?

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?: Frame rate went up, but I am getting disconnected almost every game I played tonight.
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes: After a few minutes I start seeing mass rubberbanding and my shots no longer register, followed shortly by a disconnect.
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? No Change
  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS): 55-60
  • System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler]): Intel I7 950 @ 4ghz // 32gigs of ram // EVGA GTX 680 Classified 4gig // Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit // Samsung ssd 840pro 256gig // 27" LG monitor @ 60htz 1920 x 1080
  • Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location: Pyeongtake South Korea, Cable @ 60M down / 30M up

-> I have made no changes to my computer or internet setup. I average about a 270-370 ping but it is a solid point.
I have not yet had this sort of desync issue playing the game. Have been playing for a year at this location.

Of about 4 matches I attempted tonight, 1 was actually finished. Most of my shots were not registering after the first few minutes of combat, compared to yesterday at this time the performance has severely degraded.

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?
- General performance is about the same, network performance is considerably worse. Seeing rubberbanding again which I've not seen for quite a while, latency has increased by about 20-30 ms on average and fluctuates a lot more. This is regardless of whether I connect directly (was unplayable, now utterly unplayable) or via the NA-based VPN I've been using to route around the dodgy nodes near your servers (was fine, now varies between just OK and bad). Hit detection is also much worse, probably as a result.

  • Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location
- Advertised at 24mbps - actual speed about 15. Western Australia. My network has not changed and there are no faults reported by my provider. Only changed since this last patch.

FPS is always fine here on my LOW spec machine. NEVER had an FPS issue.

I KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED FROM THE GAME NOW"!"

Now I am one of THOSE guys getting booted every f'n time I drop.

I have 12 down, 6 up, 45 ping

Core i5"?" 3850 512MB 8G RAM Raptor X >> like I said ZERO fps issues here. Texture glitches and random colored fog, but not FPS drops.

I haven't had so many disco's since the launch patch.

My connection is always SOLID when it happens. Not ME... IT's THE GAME NOW"!"

The session was lost.

>>about every 2-4 drops, at random times.

NO performance issues at time of disco, OR EVER for that matter.

Teleporting and seeing others rubberbanding as well, from time to time.

I saw the hotfix coming. I forsee another one SOON, w/all these complaints.

OH YEAH... MASS disco's last night. Around 8 all at once, 4 from each side"!"

Personally it worked better before the Launch Patch.

I ran REPAIR... no changes.

The patch before this one lowered my performance significantly. I was hoping for improvement in this patch but nope. Before the last two patches I was running very high at 50-60 fps consistently. Now I'm getting around 20 fps and it dips into the teens during the firefights. Changing settings to low didn't seem to change anything, maybe an increase of 5 fps. This is the first time the game hasn't been able to run on my system. It's frustrating... especially with phoenix coming up. I have decent internet speed, DSL at 7mb. Lag has never been an issue. I haven't had any issues until now with performance. I've also reinstalled the game twice.

It seems that that my PC with a VPN Internet connection gets pinged out and disconnected from the game. The other one with a direct connection works better.

Just about everyone's pings in the matches I have been in have been in 90's to 200's. I usually run at about 39-42. Now I am between 70's 180's.

Patch lowered performance. 60fps staring at nothing, 20-30FPS when mechs are on screen. I've lowered all my video settings to see if it makes a difference but it just underutilizes my GPU. Menu is always @ 60fps (v-sync off)

being Disconnected, Server timing out or Network error. Ping gradually increases the longer i play. Reboot of the game required to down my ping again. On a good day ping is 280. Bad day 400+ and unplayable. Last three days have been the worst sense last april. Can not get into a match or time out during match.

When the game works, its fine. However, I cant maintain a stable connection and keep getting connection lost's over 50% of the time and most of the time on trying for a 2nd match assuming I am lucky enough to get a first.

My ping was before the patch round about 115, now it is 200-300. No changes have been done to my computer or my network.
