Man....how this thread has digressed! :-) Now we are talking about the definitions of what a Steak holder is?

It became comical when someone decided to take the conspiracy theory definition of stake holder as the one PGI meant to use. The secret cabal of deep pocket investors who are trying to sabotage the game in order to cash out with as much money as possible while simultaneously destroying PGI and shutting down MWO in order to maximize a tiny short term return over a long term cash cow.

Those secret cabals... so much power and can flawlessly pull off any crazy plan you imagine, but so incompetent at the same time that their existence is betrayed by a seemingly innocuous statement about stake holders.

/insert tinfoil hat gif.

I would just like to clarify, Heffay, you are wrong on this one. A steak holder is generally someone who brings me my dinner at a restaurant B)

A steak holder is in dire threat of losing their fingers if they are too good at their job.

Well you did a good job of bumping it with a pointless snarky remark. [insert irony]

I'm hit with a combination of dread and eyerolling every time I get a notification that Heffey has quoted a post I've made.

This IS community warfare. Heffay is dug in on the PGI trenches fending off those of us storming the gates in his MG nest. He's trying to pick us off but as more and more people become disgruntled he is having more and more trouble taking us out. It's a wr of attrition.

I uninstalled again for the time being. Needed the space on my ssd for some other games. I been testing on and off since beta began and I will return again when there is some new and substantial to try.

I also pledged to star citizen but only at the mercenary level. I worry those devs maybe facing pledge creep. I understand they are working with a module system for developing new features, but they are getting a long laundry list of things to code and balance. It has mostly been alot of hype and talking points, but it sounded to amazing to not get in at the ground level.

At least MWO had a playable game before they started taking people's money. I hear walking around your hanger looking at your new spaceship is really exciting, but really? How is that anywhere on par with what the Founders got here?

People are willing to throw out money a little earlier for the creator of the Wing Commander series.

You obviously didn't pay money as a founder before CB was ready. Yes, yes they did take money before it was a playable game, they have just progressed past that.

Dude I dunno if you heard before but PGI has a rich pedigree in multiplayer gaming including Duke Nukem Forever
