Hi!

I have a really super annoying bug. The audio is poping all the way through the match. Its not too bad but the more things happen (=more people in area) the worse it gets and it drives me really crazy.

Its a sound thats hard to explain, but its called pop.
It happens when a soundwave is cut-off before its back on its zero.
I dont mind the sound actually, but its so loud and has "random room".

If you like a can create a video of this showing exactly how its being produced and how it sounds and what (basically) needs to happen to fix it.

If you have the game running yourself and want to check on it, just go to the menue (u need to be in game with the mech engine sound on) just move the effects fader to 0 and back to 100 and repeat that a few times. With this fader the sound is also straightly cut off and the audio is poping.

I dont know if its just an issue with windows 7, or with any of my specifications, but its not right how the game handles the sound. (PS i even installed new drivers an made a firmware update)

regards t

I have this exact same problem, I just always get sidetracked when meaning to write it up. It seems to be something to do with the footsteps of the mechs. When starting a match it is almost unbearable, what with all the mechs about. But once everything starts getting going I usually forget about it until I start the next match. I don't know if it has done it from the beginning (definitely didn't notice it in the first game, which I think I would have), but I do recall clearly a game where it didn't happen, and this was after noticing that it does.

yea

i dont know much about how such sounds are triggered and taken off and mixed, but the room and the extreme effects that come up when multiple mechs walk next to eachother are a bit too much. (if you listen carefully theres very deep bass/ and interesting room creations in it) I think something just gets overloadet and sounds just stop or stop fading out correctly or just overwrite others without making them zero again while the amplitude is swinging out.

I submitted this 3 months ago as I thought it was an issue with ASUS Xonar STX sound cards. It is now a "Known Bug" (see http://mwomercs.com/...-when-repeated/) and is being looked into, presumably for any audio setup.

If you are experiencing this issue, please vote "Yes" in the linked thread.

258 votes "Yes", and no info in almost a year? Wow.
