similar to what I am running... But I carry an AC20 instead of a Gauss Rifle... And I put both Large Lasers in the left arm so when they take out my RT (which happens frequently), I still have both of the heavier lasers.

I've been running a missle-less Boar's Head too though with AC20 and ML/MPL for brawling. Slightly slower but with AMS and BAP.

I find it too tempting not to take the 400XL... and can't help but smile when I see 71+ kph...

Here's my build. All slots taken. I call it Orcus

I broke and bought a boars head, and run a build the same as Factors but with spilt LL's

To be frank I think the Rs makes a better brawler 340 std instead of 350 so slightly slower, 2 ml less but can pack the ac20 and srm6 x2

I can't help but smile when I see an Atlas outrun my smaller mech. It's just not something your brain is conditioned to seeing.

seen some good load outs, but stock weapons on the Boar makes it a good defender against lighter and faster mechs.

I love my BH. I just made it a LLaser boat. I put two in each arm and as many double heatsinks as you can fit. First thing swap out the endo steel internals for armor. Just chain fire the lasers and heat will not be a problem and you will always be in the top three in damage every match.

IMHO, there are two significant distinguishing factors that make the BH different from the other atlas variants. speed and 3 energy slots in the arms. Normally I am a brawler in my other atlases but in my BH I think more like a dragon pilot. My build is:

XL400
3 ER LL (in the right arm just because I normally take cover exposing only my right)
3 LPLs (in the left)
Advanced Zoom
Target INfo Gather

trim the armour down a bit and I basically watch the heat and take snipe shots in the beginning. Anything that gets close, I take down with the LPLs. I try and back out of hot spots with my speed. If I'm stuck brawling, I quickly switch to chain fire the lasers to avoid overheating.

Large pulse and regular large lasers share heat penalty mind, and they begin incurring at 3 shots. I don't like to face anything for long enough to chain the lasers since the returned alpha will probably hit harder. I run mine with 6 mlas, ac 20 and asrm 6 in a standard 375. I fire in 3 mlas groups along with either the ac or srm launcher and then twist away. Works well, quite enjoying the change in gamestyle from my poptart shadowhawk. The engine gives a nice speed to stay under 90m ppc range. Not elited yet, **** will be so cash once it is.

6 Large Lasers are great and melts armor quick! :D As well people get confused when there is no ballistic to shoot at.

I kept the XL400 for my setup. 71.3 kph ftw.
