Is it just me or is that the same gun model from the dragon?
you have to remember that these models use that same parts as others to ease in the design process...
look at the feet, do they remind you of anyone's?
hunchback maybe?
I cant wait until I can get those models in my hands so I can cobble together other mechs
BlackKnight and Warhammer anyone?

that looks cool too. Maybe we will still get that underarm gun with the Tbolt.
I hope the did Tbolt right
ACK!! No, you don't want that. No.
The T-bolt is suppoed to have the large laser on the outside of the arm in the orginal artwork from Dougram. Like I said I want to be able to fire over cover objects.
Underslung weapons look cool, but in reality the higher up the weapon is mounted the better for the pilot.

Plus the way the T-bolt's MG's are mounted in the concept art are pretty damn badass looking.

One thing I think has been lost in all of this is....How darn good those mechs look. That Shadowhawk looks really nice and the Battlemaster looks reall cool (the tread shoulders are a nice touch). I really like the design and it seems like they put a bit more work into these then some of the previous mechs we have seen the past few months.
Design wise, they are REALLY nice.

If you look, the building the Shadowhawk is next to is the one in the BACK of the Battlemaster picture. It's also closer by a distance of quite a bit...
So for those comparing shadows...yeah...I think the 'Hawk is MUCH smaller than you think it is. Which I like.

Yes, now that you say that, the colors are a bit more muted than I thought.
I do find though that the different lighting on maps cause variation in the color too. A mech on Tourmaline may apear a different color than that same mech on Alpine (or at least so it seems to me).
Maybe on a different map with different lighting it might be brighter.

Yup, I knew it was different, but didn't catch how. You can realy see the difference in placement and angle of the camera using the small mesa behind the platform as a fixed point of reference.

I mean I am still happy to have three free colors but I was hoping to have 3 colors I would use more often because of their vibrancy.

There will be
It would be kind of cool if PGI set up games where you get a better bonus if you use certain mechs (ie less used mechs) Just to get the diversity up.
Would like to see the Tbolt, hopefully today.
