My friend is in China, so he used to play the game and make a payment in a Chinese IP.
We found a software later which is good at accelerating the speed of network but it changs the IP into an American one.
Then, my friend wanted to make another payment and because he forgot to shut down the software, the IP he used is still the American one and so his account was frozen. He cannot make a payment any longer.
How can we solve this?

This is the first time Ive heard that using a proxy speeds up any connection.

The best thing your friend can do is to submit a ticket to support@mwomercs.com and sort it out that way.

If you aren't in Asia you won't understand...

Routing tables are all messed up and it takes months to correct even if you know how to work the system..

VPNs are used either to bypass broken or full cables to other countries that have a better connection to piggy servers...

These VPNs cost money... Something like Five to eight bucks a month to bring 400-500ms ping down to a playable 300ms..

So yeah - when you see a high ping player owning you.. Appreciate how much more skill we have to put in to do it...

Hmmm... Some correction. The internet is inherently broken because it is a best effort system.
It is not built for maximum performance from one point of the world to another.

I am waiting for WTFast to compatible with MWO to see how much the jitter reduction affect game play.
Currently it screws up at game launch.

WTFast is kinda of interesting because it is not your typical VPN, it acts more like proxy to bad it doesn't work for MWO at the moment.
