Alright I think I'm going to start from scratch on the legs I think I just don't like them enough to keep them as they are.

-BUMP-
I've been working on the thing I'm sorry if anyone has been waiting for this to any degree, I loose interest and or ideas so after the first push it becomes less prevalent.
Any who there is the new leg, I am going to tweak it to some point but I'm thinking that it's going to say like this.

Looks awesome!
It even looks like it would be well-balanced and not fall over :)

Idk, is that a compliment or an insult the strider was kinda silly looking.

This thing looks beautifull. I like my mechs a bit...offcentre like the Summoner, Kit Fox etc. But this is a really attractive mech.
Weight Class and weaponry? Sorry if it has been said. It's a long thread.

Any links to your other projects?

I tried my hand at Blender for a couple of years. Made a bunch of mechs but none of them got to this stage in development.
My favorite ended up like a mixture of a roadkilled toad and a crab. Yes that sounds grotesque but it's close to the truth.
Hence i named it the Flat Crab.

I don't know the weight right this second but most likely from 55-70 tons. It mounts two ER-Large Lasers, four MGs, one TAG, and four SRM4's. Also comes with a Beagle Active Probe.

I'd love to see a Battle Tech/MechWarrior Lego series. I don't think they've done any have they?

No because they don't do anything with war are vivid stuff, star wars was as far as they go.

I actually asked in a letter once as a kid and that was pretty much the response I got. Nothing to do with war and specifically the military. I wish I still had that letter. Their criteria for this is questionable at times.

Things Lego has made relating to war: Many space sets (at least the second generation ones had the excuse of a Space Police faction so they could chalk it up to "Cities, innnnn, spaaaaaace!". I still want that friggin' huge first generation monorail set). Every medieval and medieval fantasy set (does not really get more brutal and bloody than hand-to-hand armed combat). Bionical sets. Star Wars. Every pirate set ever. Cowboys and Indians (now there is a messy and cruel conflict from a historical standpoint). Many of their "beneath the sea" theme sets came with harpoons (get a pass for most sets coming with a dangerous underwater animal). Basically, they are willing, if the franchise or theme appears at first glance, can be made harmless enough, or is very clearly tame fantasy.

They never will. BT is too overtly military in nature.

Any Ideas on alt weapons for it? I've been working on a Railgun/Gauss Rifle arm. But is there anything that you think would look good on it?
