Gauss Rifle should come with Adv. Zoom, my reasoning behind it, I ditch it against a AC 20.

Seriously now without Adv. Zoom you can't get everything out of it, up to 500m it is ok against heavy and Assault with the normal zoom, but the new mechanic gives me the feeling not worth the 15t and 1 Heat.

New players have to gain 5000 GXP "not 15000 GXP " before you get access to Adv. Zoom and without it not worth the trouble.

I think this will frustrate new players or only me.

What I suggest is the Gauss Rifle comes with Adv. Zoom that would justify the new mechanic and
would free a module slot.

For a better ratio, for give and take, the 90m minimum range should be back, but it still should make some damage under 90m.

So... the ER PPC should come with coolant flush? And LRMs with target decay? Because those also suck without modules.

LOL, for this kind work you have to use AC 20 and not some fancy Gauss Rilfes !

OP if they did that they would simply raise the gauss price by 2m.

Advanced Zoom only needs 5000GXP, not 15000GXP.

All you would need to do is the equivalent of eliting 3 mechs to accomplish this. This is pretty minimal.
