Would You Purchase Project Wolf Dragoons?

I think the game should have all manner of high-end content that players can only get through unlocking certain challenges...and I'm pretty sure this is where they are heading with the achievement and player level system.
Also, the mechs would have to be Hero variants with unique geometry.

of course... only difficulties in using it is to hit the "R" button. I knew that this is a incredible difficult thing for the most Mechwarriors - so it is still a weapon that needs lot of skill
enogh mocking
Bhael Fires suggestion - that the WD packages is premium high end game content - has some merrit.
What I don't want to see - that it is possible for Timmy and his brother to buy that packages and think they are now elite mechwarriors.
I really hope that there will be a time when it is necessary to proof that you are worth to pilot a Mech X or Y - via a Academy or other kind of PVE training... after 7 months of abstinence i recognized lately that I have extreme problems in running my Atlas to its former glory - the sad thing is - i see players in Boards Head and Atlas RS©s performing even worser.
I would advice Maverick - to rethink his suggestion - and rework the "mechs of chocie)
Firefly, Hopplite, Gallowglas, one of them( Marauder II, Shogun, Imp, Annihilator)

I thought I saw the Wolf's Dragoons requirement would be some sort of total earned XP requirement. That would be perfect for me. I'm a bad pilot, but I play almost every day. A persistence test works better for me than a skill test!

I'm still going to get an Annihilator and refuse to grind any Factions.

Finally, there are too many AssaultMechs in their roster to choose, such as the Imp, Maurauder II, Shogun, and Annihilator.

The option to enter the Wolf's Dragoons Faction should never be something that can be 'purchased', ever.
- It should only be 'Offered' after a rather difficult grind, as this specialized unit was one of, if not the top elite unit within the IS.
- Every Merc unit was 'graded' in comparison to the Dragoons standards and this 'Dragoons Rating' indicated the Merc's proficiency.
- This rating was used to set the level of contracts that could or would be offered to each Merc unit.
For those that have not or did not read any back story behind the Dragoons.
TheLegend:
Wolf's Dragoons is a name that is synonymous with the best traditions of the mercenary profession operating within the Inner Sphere. They are arguably the most famous mercenary unit ever, considered to embody the ideals of honor, professionalism, and integrity that the less scrupulous members of the mercenary trade are sometimes portrayed in having.
They were initially of Clan origins, but have since integrated both Clan and Inner Sphere traditions and personnel and established themselves as a power in the Inner Sphere.
Backstory:
The Wolf's Dragoons, from Lore, were sent to the IS by the Clans to gather intelligence on each of the major powers. They arrived within the IS around the 3005.
~ They were equipped with what the Clans erroneously believed to be an average lineup of outdated BattleMechs, supposed to make them appear wholly inconspicuous: Five regiments of ’Mechs, including designs that were either essentially extinct in the Inner Sphere (such as the Flea, Falcon, and Hoplite) or had never before been seen there (such as the Imp and the Annihilator), complemented with likewise extraordinary support units, DropShips, and Jump-Ships. The Dragoons also had Hephaestus Station, a (mobile) space station with a BattleMech assembly line for the Dragoons' exclusive ARC-2W sub-variant of the Archer.
~ Before entering the Inner Sphere proper, the Dragoons created a supply cache in an unknown location where they left behind some of their more advanced equipment, including six WarShips.
~ For their long-term reconnaissance mission, Wolf’s Dragoons chose to work for each of the five large Successor States in turn to study them. Although their equipment clearly marked them as special, it also made them a force to be reckoned with and they had little trouble in finding employers.
* First employer: House Davion/The Federated Suns (3005 - 3009)
* Second employer: House Liao/The Capellan Confederation (3010 - 3014)
* Third employer: Duke Anton Marik/The Marik civil war (3014 - 3015)
* Fourth employer: House Marik/The Free Worlds League (3015 - 3019)
* Fifth employer: House Steiner/The Lyran Commonwealth (3020 - 3022)
* Sixth employer: House Kurita/The Draconis Combine (3023 - 3028)
At the time of the Clan invasion:
- In 3051, during a lull in the Invasion, Jaime Wolf called a conference on Outreach. All the heads of the various Inner Sphere houses and several mercenary leaders were invited. It was at the start of this conference that Jaime Wolf revealed the true origin of the Dragoons: They were originally a part of Clan Wolf and a scout force for the Clans, which were, in turn, revealed to be the descendants of the Star League Defence Force. Until then, the Dragoons had not met the Clan invaders on the battlefield.
- At this point the Wolf's offer to 'train up' each of the House's elite units to help them better defend there IS against the Clans. Additionally they offer advanced Tech and Mech designs to the IS.
