This is done for a bit of fun it was model in 3ds Max I always though that the Vulture and Timber-wolf were the best Mech designs in the Clans.Posted Image

YAY Canon Mad Dog arms!!!

Looks pretty **** good, any chance we can see a few images of just the kick rear omnimech. Mad Dog is one of my top mechs, give us a nice few angles to see this beauty.

That's really nice. Did you do the modelling/texturing yourself?

One small suggestion. It's a little flat tonally. You might want to get a direct light in there like the sun. At the moment it looks overcast but the sky is blue with light clouds. Some strong shadows will really give depth to the scene.

Thanx I needed to drop the exposure on the hdri, it was the first one I created ( it's a learning curve) for the sky background and could have added more lights but I was trying to set up a single light ibl but hay all criticism is good and is only way we can improve :)

Only in Mechwarrior 4, correct. Same with the Arms. The Mad Dog never had solid pod arms nor a nose turret prior to that. Personally, while I'm actually fond of a lot of the Mech 4 redesigns, the Mad Dog is the one I could not stand.

Great model, I wish I could texture mine but I think it would take for ever to texture all its faces. Great work man.

Thanx ;)
What Software are you using ? Textureing is not that hard all you need to do is create UV maps and then use photoshop that what I done. Basing it on WWII German anguler camo.

Yeah, I definitely do like the old look of the Mad Dog. Let's hope PGI at least makes it look somewhat classic.
