I bought it because the original "Phoenix" mechs are exactly what got me into Battletech (of ANY variety) in the first place. So many happy memories of tabletop matches spent marching my little cardboard foldies all over the maps and blasting the hell out of anything that moved.

I know it's highly unlikely that my beloved Marauder ever makes it into the game, but these beauties are an awfully nice consolation prize for this old Mechwarrior,,,

That's largely what I liked, seeing the old Dougram gang I played 3rd edition with. I'd settle for supped up FanPro versions of the Macross mechs but if nothing else I smiled a bit when I saw them.

Bought the Defender pack but then upgraded to Overlord. Couldn't resist the easy entry to assault mechs which I haven't played yet. And the biggest reason is that I'm enjoying the game so I wanted to support the developers. In short: Good deal so why not.

I voted no because I'm a cheap ***** and figure everything is obtainable except mechbays and hero mechs and I don't need any more mech bays right now so the 60 bucks I have spent on this game in the past is right in line with any other new title I would buy.

I bought the PP without Sabre. Literally have not played a single match in the new Mechs yet. Been finishing the mastery of a previous set of Mechs first. Plus I want to see some viable builds in action before I begin to tinker

the packages were just too good to pass up. You get enough mechs to master one mech in each weight class and some bonus c-bill mechs. I didn't get the sabre pack though. I'll wait for them to release

Nothing in the Phoenix packages really makes me want to buy them, infact I was kinda annoyed that for $110 you get a lot more than what I got for $120 when I got my Legendary founders package, I guess the annoyance stems from the fact that the Founders mechs are pretty ****** now and I rarely ever touch them.

But regardless of that I'm not gonna throw that chunk of cash at PGI when they still haven't delivered much of the major content I've been waiting for. I would have got one of the smaller packages but nothing in those really made me want to buy them either. I would have bought the Sabre package if it didn't require me to buy another package, i.e their cash trap.

Wow dude that is bull **** I was not aware that the Phoenix was a much better buy then the founders as u say I really didn't look into either 1 much at all may be a little down the line they can throw u founders guys like 2 or 3 free mech bays just to make it closer to equal value

I hv bought the overload package but I want the battlemaster only

I did buy the storm pack, but i just did it. First, i wanted to see how the phoenix would be. I actually wanted the guardian one, but that's a bit too much money.. And, just below 25 euro for 6 mech, including 6 new paint colors made a quite nice first purchase at an online game.
