I would like to play something that's not very common but effective so im asking you to post what do you think are the most under rated mechs and loadouts. Thanks.

Well it is not even out yet, but many have said the Phoenix Locust will be DoA... In just another week now people can see for themselves...

Oh also anything that uses LRMs.

A serious answer would be an lbx - mostly seen inferior To other ACs but you can make it work and its probably the ballistic that gives you the most entertaining gameplay. Take two of them and put some srms or pulse lasers on top and go for some brawls.

What do you think are the most under rated mechs and loadouts in pug play?

What do you think are the most under rated mechs and loadouts in competitive play?

As we all know when rating loadouts we look at one and say "that's a pug build" or "that's viable for competitive" Most builds that get posted on the fourms are puggers.

Oddly enough my current favorite is an Ilya with 2 LBX and an LPL.

I'm serious as a heart attack- almost all Medium Mechs are underrated by most players.

For competitive play TBT-7M. Very effective light hunter I have been running in 12 mans lately that still has enough punch to threaten damaged heavies.

Well if you think the Locust answer wasn't serious enough... How about: Cicadas, Dragons, Awesomes.... Or my favorite Firebrand build of 2xLPL+UAC5 which is underrated for both the LPLs people dislike and the paired UAC5s rather than 3xUAC5 which is all the rage...

I wish I had MC for every time someone has predicted a DOA mech. Victors, Highlanders, Orions, Jenner (after Spider arrived), Commando.....

Don't forget the Locust; lots of people were predicting DOA before the screenshots showed up.

It's the other way around; the Jenner is better than the Spider at just about everything. The Spider was dead on arrival when it was first introduced, and was widely regarded as one of the worst mechs in the game. The only reason they're doing okay right now is because hit detection isn't always functional.

The Commando is obsolete (to the Jenner) for the most part, outside of being able to carry ECM (which can be done by a Raven 3L with more armor and firepower).
