No unit is over or underpowered. (if there isn't a exploitable bug/feature)
Do you know when lights become to be a problem... when half a dozen guys start to turn and hunt that thing....suddenly a single Spider got a incredible weapon upgrade GaussRifles - ripping through rear armors. SRM volleys tearing arms appart.
Lasers destroying internal components. The most danger is friendly fire.

So the problem is not the light its the team.

Luckily, there's throttle decay and 3PV to remedy that :)

Light are fine. The whole game is fine but the gauss riffle.
