So we are technically out of beta, but we still don't have an option to start the game in full screen mode. Why? I tire of constantly hitting alt+enter after every match, and when the game loads up, or constantly dragging the window up higher so my taskbar isn't hiding my XP and C-bills. This seems like a pretty quick and easy change that would make the game a bit less...beta-ey feeling.

They have already said this feature will be part of UI 2.0. They've also said that there is no such thing as a quick and easy change to the current implementation of the UI.

I don't know, I think it really would be simple. If I knew a bit more about cry-engine commands I could probably just modify a config file with something like "fullscreen=true". I may just look that up and make my OWN full screen patch, if we really have to wait till UI 2.0. They have been promising things like that for months now with no delivery. It's always "all these new features are coming soon!". Not sure what they think "soon" means, but my definition is certainly not theirs.
