I'm not pointing at anyone here in particular, but I'm willing to bet nine out of ten people who would pick clans don't:
A ) Understand zellbrigen.
B ) Practice zellbrigen.
C ) Understand they cannot use contractions in speech.

Unless we have a lot of Clanner Janitors all of a sudden ;)

Unfortunately you are right.

But on the bright side, I signed up with tons of Clan boards to recruit players for honorable combat.
They were all onboard with zellbrigen in the field.

My two favorite factions are the Eridani light horses and the Kell hounds both of which are spheroid merc units.

Why not benifet from both sides and then once your fat, powerful and, deadly, make a whole new side of your own?

I side with the IS on this one. I don't particularily care for the Clans social system or their methods of combat (though I do have a healthy appreciation for their technology, and would enjoy exploiting it if I can get my hands on some).

Also, I sort of enjoy the David and Goliath motiff that underlies an engagement between IS and Clan mechs.

To bad my Knights Republic of Lerlide, isnt an option..I side with and lead my own military force always ;) :D

Were some kind of a super souped up Inner Sphere force with our base stationed in Canada on Terra...w/e that would be called in the Mechwarrior days...We also have bases on Saiph, Berenson, Tall Trees, Zion and Wasat.
We have Alliances with Steiner, The Republic and are atleast in good standings with Clan Nova Cat and House Kurita.
Davion and Cappellans, my KRL is at war with them...well, were in a cease fire atm....

No, but in the theme of the game, I side with Steiner first

Nothing is better then beating someone down with the biggest gun one can find.

If the option arose, id definitely abandon any IS Tech im using and capture and use Clanner Tech over IS tech but I gotta side with my Steiners.

IS all the way. I have great respect for the Warden clans but I need to stay where my loyalties are. House Davion is my house and the Draconis March is my home. The DCMS will always always be the true threat to the stability and safety of the IS.

Clans. More specifically the Jaguars as I read/learned about them first in 1998 and the fact they survived as well (Surrender Your Dreams)! ;)

I picked 7 worlds and have all kinds of beach front property in the FFR. Besides... I'm sure there will be plenty of Clan Salvage lying around if I need upgrades.

Once and always IS. I've been playing Battletech since before the 3050 clan invasion book was ever even teased. So yeah, old school Mechwarrior here. ;)

I'm a low down dirty Merc. Which means IS.

Only good thing about clanners is salvage. Pure and simple.

I am and always will be a loyal son of the Federated Suns. The New Zion Defense League may fight as mercenaries but we fight for the honor and freedom that the Suns understand better than any other nation or clan.

I was always a loyal Warden Wolf, and followed Phellan into exile, though ironic that when I fought for bloodnames, I got the same one as Vlad, (yes the leader of the now Crusader Wolf camp, I know, kind of awkward,). I have respect for the IS and the Crusaders, but we must return not with a vengeance, but with kind and teaching hearts to bring us to a new golden age, of prosperity, and peace. That is what we should have done, but we lost the Trial of Refusal, so we got placed in the invasion force. And then we laughed our ***** off when we out did our Crusader brothers, by conquering as many as possible to deny them to the other Clans.
