I got loadouts to run with it both ways. People also swore you shouldn't run an XL in Highlanders and stuff when they first arrived, and it was pure bunk. We will see with the THUD. Those ape arms should help twisters absorb a fair bit. But I won't cry if I have to make em into standard engined brutes.

That's actually due to the scale of the Centurion/Trebuchet's being out of whack. They are 50 ton Mechs, and are way way taller than a good-sized Medium, which is the Hunchback. So since the scale of the Cent is whack, it is thus closer in size to some of the Heavy Mechs in the game.

This is wrong. You meant to say Kintaro/Cicada.
The hunchback was horrible in scale from closed beta on.
Are you being sarcastic or are you referring to its hunch only? The Kintaro is way too tall, and the Cicada is also way too tall for 40 tons.

Yeah, that's probably true. I didn't want to put XL in a Jag either, but it is doable; you're right though, we'll just have to see how it goes out in the field.

? HUnchy has always been perfectly scaled as a Medium. Got news for you, half the weight of an Atlas don't mean half the height, unless ALL other proportions remain static. So if you wan't it shorter, the bloody thing would need to be built li Gimli to be remotely scaled right. The Jenner, Atlas and HBK are about the only 3 mechs they ever did scale right.

Yep cents are big, but at least they aren't that tall as the SH or the TBT. Good scales are those of General Taskeen's post for sure..

same thing that happens when you lose a side torso on a regular mech, Not a damn thing unless you are packing an XL.

I know it should be Tennex's work if I recall correctly. Nevertheless, bringing that out even if you aren't the author is always a good action
