Due to the high cyclic rate of AC2's and the fact that people uses macros to be able to shoot the at peak recycle rate is there going to be a way to disable macros. Another way to fix this "user end unintended hack" then the cycle rate for AC2's should be slowed down significantly.

Tell us more about how macros gave someone an advantage over you. I am eager to hear the song of your people.

Shooting the AC2 at peak recycle does not involve a macro. It is called "holding down the button"

No, seriously, explain to us how a macro gives AC2 users an advantage. Tell us... what do they do with said macro that angers you so?

2 things...

1. I can't fathom a way a macro could help an ac2.

2. Its impossible to block macros, my mouse for example has memory built in to store the macro and the when I push the bottom the input comes straight from the input device so there is no way to tell its a macro.

Lastly troll thread made me post I feel dirty.

Just allow players to manually enter their desired chainfire delay from the mechlab. Problem solved.

Or ya know...we could just point them to the PINNED thread at the TOP of the very 'balance' forum section they posted in...which explains exactly why 'staggered fire' macro'd or not, has no use.

No, your such an agile defender I would be ashamed. LOL

PS, Using the ac2 argument here is a dead giveaway.

I am sorrry, all the macros must have left with the unicorns and I missed it.

uh...OP is specifically about the AC/2....what other 'argument' would you like? There is ZERO advantage to macroing AC/2...in fact the ghost heat penalties for doing so are so excessive, it would be extremely foolish to do so...

So macros did leave with the unicorns? Better tell those guys driving all the other ac boats then. Or just stick with ac2's because its an easy win?
