Okay so heres my problem, i wana play MWO but it dont seem 2 be downloading.... i ran the patcher, it opens with a blue button that says patch.. i push it and it says please wait, then on the bar it says patch 1/1 i see a little orange bit, then it never moves.. it also dont display speed or file size

is it just not displaying the progress or is it not downloading at all? is there a way i can direct download maby? or do i HAVE to use the patcher... cause it dont appear 2 be downloading at all... After 4 hours i checked back and the bar hasnt even nudged....

the patcher also stops responding when i close it, but appears 2 be working fine aside from not appearing to download, like i see the flashing screens with info n stuff

my internet isnt the greatest, but i do alot of downloading the speed of things slows down like its downloading at a high band speed (for me that is) but the bar isnt moving at all..

ANY help would eb greatly appreciated


also i dont use avast im using MSS and i also have a intel cpu (saw a post talking about avast internet sec and amd cpu's)


what i have should run the game great im working with a

i5-3570k

650 ti boost

8 gigs of 1600 ram

and windows 7

Sounds like a network connectivity or speed issue. Could be firewall related also. Email the link provided above and they will walk you though the troubleshooting steps. Provide any network-related info you can to them also.

Keep in mind that the patcher when patching doesn't progress till it's done, so give it some time. Even with an updated game, the patcher can take 5-10 minutes to patch.

But 4 hours seems a bit much. Unless you're talking the initial load, which may take a while.
