Huge Discussion About Mwo At Star Citizen Forums

I of course disagreed seeing as the star citizen development is much much much better organized than the development of MWO, but couldn't help but notice all the amusing posts, especially the pictures, there's a lot of rage in there as well as "white knights"
Was fun to read, a lot of good points are made about MWO's failings in there, i agree with most of them but despite them all still think this game is the most fun MOBA available.

They're just trying to find an optimal window to bail on MWO with as much money in their pockets as they can fit, without catching multiple boots in the *** from angry players and whatever laws would be applicable here.

At the SC forums people are allowed to say whatever they want, and express everything freely, just as long as they keep it reasonable (no "excessive" swearing or sexual language, racism or otherwise anything that can be offensive)
Rules
they've got pretty much freedom of speech as long as it's civilized, hating on something is still civilized unless you're insulting or offending a member of the forum directly.
Someone said he got banned off the MWO forums for posting this, it doesn't seem particularily insulting or offensive to me, just how he sees things and that's very good negative feedback one of many which PGI seems to completely ignore.

I know those rules! And the posts of the anti-PGI crowd (not all, but some) are pretty much what I consider deeply insulting personal attacks (which are never covered by freedom of speech). It doesn't and shouldn't matter if those insulted are part of the community over there or not and the rules do not make such a distinction.

However that post (which i edited) in my other post which some user got banned for didn't speak out directly to any member of PGI, in fact didn't say anything bad, it was just someone trying to explain why most of the original playerbase is mad at PGI.
Freedom of speech rules differentiate between countries. For example, wrongfully insulting someone (saying someone did something which he didn't do) is illegal, but insulting them for something they did do, they would have to disprove that it ever happened in order to make that statement illegal.

Looking through some of the posts and seeing the same names I've seen around here for a while, the FIRST moment that SC does something they don't like or agree with, like petulant children, they will ignite the forums over there, and keep it running needlessly ad nausium.
Good riddance, and actually, it's turned me off of wanting to try SC with them over there.
P.S. Once they do, that "Freedom of Speech" you bandy about having over there, will vaporize.
Used to be that way around here too early on.

No, that is not fine! Insulting a group is the same as insulting each individual in that group.
Insults are never fine! You can criticize (even on the MWO forums, we have many, many critical threads), but the moment you start using insults you disqualified yourself and your opinion. If you can not discuss with real arguments alone, you should consider leaving the argument, instead of leaving what's morally right behind you.
If you want to insult so badly, aim at the product, not at those creating it. Insult MWO all you want. Make fun of it! But the guys and gals making it are humans just like you and deserve to be treated with the same kind of respect, you would demand from anyone towards you.
