I would like to say first that this looks like a very impressive and well organized future unit. Good foundations and all that.

I am a former member of NBT's Clan WidowMaker (CJF and other iterations), but they seem to have disappeared as near as I can tell. I was with them solidly for 4-5 years and then 2 years on and off back some 6 years ago I left MW4 as NBT started to wind down back then. This was as MekTek was trying to negotiate to release mech4 free. I have played Mechwarrior games since I was 13 or 14 on Kali with Mechwarrior 2 on a 28.8 modem. :-p This means I've been a Mechwarrior for somewhere between 13-14 years, ironically enough. So I will be filling out my app tonight sometime and sending it in, but I felt I should say something on here first.

I don't think the boss would say no to another pilot at this stage, what timezone are you in as I'm trying to organise some Mech4 free release drops as a unit, team building exercises are always a good time.

And now I have my swanky new monitor I can blow things up in full high def! Good times all round!

Actually Dyallo, Clan WidowMaker has a thread in the Merc corp recruiting forum. Cyberwolf is resurrecting the clan and lots of old faces have signed in. Not that I am trying to dissuade you from joining Wolf Spiders, just making mention in case you are looking for some old friends

Hey I am in the Caracas, La Paz timezone which is basically EST. We even factor in DST. As of right now it is 10:00pm. I am usually on from 8pm onwards when I work the day shift. When I work night I am on during the day. Just send me a PM when you want to meet up.

Hey Bremer, as long as you downloaded the form and sent it via adobe reader and not through your web browser it would have sent. The Boss is on Christmas hols at the moment so will review all applications on his return, like I said earlier though I don't think he'll say no to a few more pilots though and I look forward to training and dropping with you very soon.

Azaptye, I'll get some times organized for some mech4 and we can get dropping, I'm currently trying to get the password to alpha reg's private training server but failing that I'll start my own bespoke server for our purposes. Stay tuned and I'll have updates on this asap and hopefully we can get 1 drop in before Christmas.

Always nice to see fellow Netbattletech Vets. Thank you for your kind words regarding our unit. If anything said organisation is owed to the some 5-6 years of playing in Netbattletech, and the lessons learned throughout of which I am sure you know too well. The Wolf Spider Battalion would be honoured to receive your application. As SaberCut pointed out, the old NBT Clan Widowmaker does indeed have a presence here on the MWO forums. They have a recruitment thread, it might just be pushed a fair bit down in page history. I understand the importance of friendships made playing in NBT and MW in general. If you still wish to join then we welcome you, if not, we wish you and Clan Widowmaker well.

I just checked, and your application was not present on the server. As Blackfang pointed out, and due to failings on Adobes part, the form is only submittable in Adobe Reader. It will be fillable in other pdf readers and web browsers supporting pdf viewer plugins, however the submit button fails to send the data. I apologise for the inconvenience. If you have persistent problems I can send you the application as plain text file. If you'd like to discuss the matter I welcome your private message. Again, as Blackfang has menitioned, I will be away for Christmas from tomorrow. So if you resend the application I wont be able to confirm it until I return from Ireland after the 29th December.

Tuesday - 6.30pm until I fall asleep at keyboard
Thursday - as above
Weekends - as and when required to drop with both members of Alpha company and Beta company.

Server to be determined at the time but will create my own server called...wait for it... "Wolf Spider Training" the password will be...wait for it..."Kerensky" (without the "" but with a capital K)

This will start with immediate affect from tonight, come and join me if you're so inclined to do so. This is a bespoke server only and will only be online at the times stated or as required.

okay so i have a serious problem, one of the gravest issue, one that needs rectification immediately, ASAP, quickly, swiftly and all other adjectives used for speed......my online multiplayer will not work for some reason it does not allow me to play online due to server issues...also...are we using TS3 for chatting or what? sorry it's been awhile, college is...well...college ;D

EDIT: Ports forwarding and should be accepting connections! Just getting a TS3 server sorted for us

Blackfang, I tried to join the WS server but got the 'error' message. I was able to join other servers ok so I assume that the problem is not on my end. I will try again later and see if I can catch you guys and see if it will let me in.

ok so i just tried to join Wolf Spiders, it popped up an error that said that the server isnt working/ could be down...i think this is similar to von Bremerhavens' problem?

alright...third times the charm ...soo i just tried to join any other games and it is obviously my problem..it says connection error, your network may not be connected properly or the server is down...i know the server isnt down, sooo what am i doing wrong? any help i wanna meet you guys

Ok TS3 server up for now 86.160.83.99:9987 no password, get yourselves on there asap need to discuss this connection thing!
