Well after this patch this game is probably getting an uninstall. The shadow hawk is useless because as a medium your the size of a ******* Atlas. You guys really need to go over your size charts again and throw them away. Make some new ones, ones where mediums aren't the same size as 100 ton mechs. There is no firepower limits to seperate the classes. Lights can run around strapped out with ER PPCs and AC/20s. Most of weapons in mechwarrior are not even in the game. Mainly all the Assault Class weapons. And I'm not going to even get started on the hardpoint system. I've been fairly patient with this game but thats over. Enjoy the game folks, I'd rather go play MW4:Mercs.

Thumbs up, PGI! I'm very happy with my new toys. This patch was awesome.

Just one Question: Where's the badged? How to activate it?

Edit: Bye bye, Imperial X!

Oh, great! So, now, with a Champion, Premium, and First Victory of the Day in that order, I'll get 3.3x XP (1.1 * 1.5 * 2 = 3.3), instead of the old way where I'd only get 3.3x XP (2 * 1.1 * 1.5 = 3.3)?

I'm going to guess it must have been 1 + 50% + 100% before. No telling how it's coded.

Like, for example...RL, a construction contractor may charge 10/10 for overhead and profit. That's supposed to be 10% and 10%, not 10% on 10%. The latter actually equals about 21%. No idea if they have a similar issue, but if they changed it, I assume it was borked before.

I dont want an engine cap increase, I want an engine speed increase so that at max engine I'm at least faster than a Jenner. In a max armor, max engine with Endo and FF a Cicada is slower than a Jenner and has less tonnage to put on weapons than the Jenner.

The only "advantage" the Cicada has is the extra armor, but since this is a Cicada we're talkin about the only actual important number is 4. Thats the amount of extra armor on the CT the Cicada gets for goin slower and havin less weapons than a Jenner. Not to mention the XL 340 is horrible for weight/hs efficiency.

I kinda meant what you're saying (maybe not in the correct words or terms), but at this point, you can't really improve the Cicada that much more. The ECM variant would certainly not get the buff as this is PGI's "nerf" to them (which isn't too much of a balance point).

The Jenner is still the master race despite the buff, but the ECM Spider has a lot more value over the ECM Raven though...

Was something missing from the release? It doesn't appear that the commando had it's engine size changed. This is from my commando in game. I wouldn't mind the extra weight and speed.
  • Commando COM-1B, -1D, -3A:
    • Increased maximum engine size to 240
    • Increased turning rate by 10%
    • Increased maximum reverse speed to 75% of forward speed

That's a 2D right? Check the list again, engine upgrade is only for the ones that no one uses.

Finally ECM mechs have some disadvantages ;)

It's disadvantage was being a Commando. It was the only one that was vaguely useable. ;)

The 3L still has a larger engine size than any other Raven and the non-5D Spiders speed advantage doesn't matter because once the hit registration gets fixed again they'll be right back to being considered completely useless, 170kp/h or not.

This is just a test as I can't find any way to enable it but are the forum badges working?

Edit: Yes they are, displayed automagically.

I have to admit i was one of those who rage quit when 3pv came out. I took time out to calm down. I took a step back and decided that playing MWO with my husband was more fun than not playing due to a game mechanic i didn't like. I still don't like it, but i enjoy playing more, so much so that i decided to buy the Saber package. I'm really enjoying the new mechs though it's going to take forever to grind them all up. I picked my medallions, although not actually knowing anything about the houses i just picked ones which i thought looked the best. I hope that doesn't matter to me in the future B)

K, that confirms it... you're on drugs.

A Cicada goes 1.3kph slower than a Jenner. You're making a stink about 1.3kph, which isn't even noticeable?

A Cicada can mount the same, and better, weapons than a Jenner.

A Cicada can mount ballistics, if it chooses. Jenners cannot.

One variant of the Cicada has ECM. No variants of Jenners do, due in part to whiners like you.

The only thing that the 5-ton lighter Jenner gets, that the Cicada doesn't, is the option to mount jump-jets. And it must expend tonnage and crit-slots to do so.
....

Can you spare some of what you're smoking? B)

Hey Everyone, just curious, I haven't been able to find where to set my Overlord badge from the Project Phoenix yet and was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me find that. I have also been trying to find out if the Overlord badge on the mech cockpit also gives out loyalty points, to be sure I set the right one, vs the four that we got for our particular group type. If you can, please let me know, I'll sleep much better knowing what's happening:) Thank you for your help.

And bam, as soon as I ask, there is the badge, sorry:) Still not sure about the Overlord medallion though, does that still give out loyalty points?

The Shadowhawk is comparable in size to the trebuchet. Still a bit large in my opinion, but it is not "the size of the Atlas" by far.

Have fun in MW4.

So... the End of Round screen.... It is the same as it was before. Flipping between screenshots pre and post patch of EoR screens shows no difference in layout, info, fonts... anything really.

I LOVE the new mechs on the field. I love the optimization passes and detail fixes.

I hate that often times your team comes off looking like it doesn't know what it is doing due to poor communication habits.

Can someone please tell me what the differences are pre and post patch? I seem to be missing something--or, PGI is.
