Nice reference to "Robot Jox"
Personally, I'd go for a Tarantula, with a "Phrankenmech" paintjob, with the Air-Ride seat, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot from my Freighliner Cascadia, in the cockpit. Loaded with 4 MPLAS, Dual MGUN, AMS, and TAG, and stock Jumpjets.

Both would be white with black and yellow trim as the Jolly Roger squadron, akibg with the skull and cross bone s decals. Inside would be two things, a cup holder and a sell refilling Tim Horton's card...

That Paint scheme is from the Bounty Hunter in the original TRO for the Marauder. Green with gold dollar (well, credit) signs.
As for the ride, my all time favorite the Grasshopper. For the custom modification, massive gaming PC plugged into the that beautiful holographic display system, and some blackout curtains for the windows. Gotta have something for those long transits right?

On the side of the hunch would be art showing AC casings being ejected from the receiver and a selector switch with SAFE, FIRE, and AUTO shown. The switch would be turned to AUTO.
And to top it off, "DIE CLANNER!" would be written on the torso.

The best part is the iATMs are a real idiots weapon. I can do lots of damage even if I'm drunk.
Also if I want to retire, I can sell that Mech for some big freakin' dollars, and just live easy and rich.
Heck, with iATMs, I could sell it to anyone and get more then the fair market price. Just fight one battle in Solaris, beat the champ, sell the Mech. Hook, line, sinker.

Touch: It would be painted in camo suitable for night missions depending on planet. Searchlight has replacement halogen bulbs in it. Liberated em from an old lostech stash I was supposed to be guarding. Only ones known too exist. I wouldn't adjust the searchlights direction slightly right as per the SOP just to eff with the new recruits. Took me awhile to find a guy with enough knowledge to do it but I had a tech write in the mech's computer something he called a "cheating macro" that would turn the lights on and off real fast. I'd volunteer for all the night drops. In a firefight I'd cut the halo's on and blind the crap out my enemy, NV or otherwise when they got too close.
