Look no further than the Stock LCT-3S. It can't do **** vs. ECM. It has to pay PGI's Tax Toll.

I'm not sure I understand PGI's reasoning to put Mechs in the game, like stock - that traditionally could fire their missiles at ECM (when in LOS), and then do the opposite so those Mechs can't fire at ECM in Line of Sight.

Yeah the 3S is kinda funny stock... Hence why I striped the missiles and ran a ERLL for my best run to date in it... But as often as we've said PGI need to redo ECM nothing ever happens. I guess disabling indirect fire to mechs in the ECM shadow or calculating direct line of sight (which they do for sensors anyways) is just to hard... I can understand why they decided they needed a hard counter, but LRMs are a sort of 'meh' and I think reducing the hard counter is something they have long since needed to do.

But the crying, oh the CRYING.

Come to think of it though, it may not be just that.

Presumably the people doing the crying are not just spouting off ****, but are in fact actually so bad that they can't handle stepping back and to the side.



That would mean that they're wildly skewing the numbers that PGI is seeing... and in terms of raw numbers, they certainly vastly outnumber those of us who can hit W and A (or D) within a 5 second window.
