... Thats a brilliant idea for a mech actually.

The CRP-3R Creeper.
Class: Medium
Armament: 2 Chest Mounted SRM-6s, 2 Chest Mounted AC2s, 2 small pulse lasers (or something like that!)
This mech is unusual in that it is a quadrupedal medium mech, built for increased stability as firing platform. Built for urban combat, this mech is notorious for its ammunition exploding spectacularly, which is often preceded by a strange hissing noise from a mechanical fault in its CASE.

lol. . . I'd pay some credits to see a CRP-3R go up in flames. . .from a safe distance of course.

Has anyone walked out of their garage, and suddenly heard a subtle "Ssssssssss...." sound from behind them?

Well firstly, I get schematics of the mechs. I start with the legs, up. To make sure the scale is correct I look at the legs and check it from the side and compare it with the schematic. If that is fine, I go ahead with the rest of the mech making sure every 10 minutes that the scale is right.

Both mechs took 4 - 8 hours
so I would imagine it should be awesome.

So, I really should ask.

I've been contemplating making a Battletech/Mechwarrior related Minecraft skin, but between lack of skill and aborting each attempt less than a tenth of the way through, I have never succeeded.

Are there any Minecraft character skins that are Battletech related? I kind of get the feeling that the Commando, Quickdraw, and Atlas would lend themselves well to the shape of the player model.

I'd say take the default skin and put a neurohelmet on him ;) I'd wear that.

Hello guys! This Timberwolf/Mad Cat is not really 1:1 scale (it won't be very detailed) so i made it a bit bigger .. I know it isn't very good about proportions, and it's quite "approximate" but i made it in a multiplayer server and i wasn't able to fly (i used a jetpack cause i was in a Tekkit server but it isn't very confortable to place/remove blocks) .. i'm using an interesting Mechwarrior texture pack which can be found here: http://www.minecraft...chwarrior-pack/

HP and I both play on the OMC Minecraft server, his Atlas is also visible in this first shot.

*Sigh* I just spent about three and a half hours on a Pixel art rendition of the Flea, just to come across this page and see Scaled 3D 'Mechs that were made in about the same time. First thing's first, though. To give credit where it's due. I took the fan picture and inserted in a program "Spritecraft" to select the blocks that I would use, which took about 2 minutes. I then spent the next few hours placing the individual blocks based on their location as shown to me by Spritecraft. What I did required no creativity or skill, but it did take a lot of time. I feel like I'm going to be overshadowed by some of these incredible creations, but whatever; I tried. :D
