This is just another example of the designer ignoring the BT universe cannon for expediency reason.

DFA is something they have on the table, just not something that they have their programmers taking precedence in fixing.

The problem in our 12 man match was that their slow sniper build assaults were able to go from being on one side of the giant mountains in the center of alpine to the opposite side way faster than our assaults ever could.

as i am very fond of saying, Just because you CAN does not mean you should. it had been a nice strait fight (that my team was winning) and then they used a cheesy broken "not exploit" to get around our guys and cap us, due to having 6 guys on cap instead of three. GG close?

Ok riding a team mate is a no go area...

But what about jumping and riding a enemy mech?

Did it once, night that the phoenix mechs came out. My Cataphract landed on a Shadow Hawk in Terra Therma on the grateing/walkway over the volcano.

Still got shot up real quick, so I didn't personally see any hit box registration issues.

Though if you gonna grab a teammate to use this tactic, you gotta call the mule mech pilot 'Blaster', while the piggybacker should be named 'Master'....

Then all we'd need is a Thunderdome map...
