Despite all my complaining, I see that rocks are still not on your list. This is an outrage. Rocks are the single, most invincible menace the game has ever known (after trees). Sir, I am offended that your nerf list does not include rocks.

See? This is where you messed up. Had it been a nerf list rocks would have made it. It's a remove list though. Although I did see someone suggest big open maps with no terrain once....

Remove rocks. All rocks. Absolutely every rock everywhere must be removed!! Then nothing would impede my progress. Locusts would have nothing to hide behind. There would be no hills, no mounds, no mountains, no cliffs, no caves, no planets, no moons, no asteroids, no NOTHING! NOTHING TO STOP US FROM LAZZORING EACH OTHER TO OBLIVION!!

It took us so many years to get another MW title after Mech:4 because so few companies were willing to risk it.
Look at the negativity in these forums - that has been part of Mechwarrior since Mech:2 at the very least.
The name calling....
The "do it my way because obviously I am smarter than you" Posts and Polls....

Very very few companies want any part of that.
This game fails - it is very very possible we will never have another non-mod version of Mechwarrior ever.
And for all people sing MW:LL praises... it was nothing more than Crysis with Mechwarrior painted over it - and that is going into the game-functionality.

It had the look, but it was no more Mechwarrior than Halo was Half-Life.

Edit: I am REALLY not very good at this....

Add to that the relatively small profit margins from a niche series like this.
Among other issues - which have been discussed in numerous other places by people much better at this than I.
