I think I'm going to start mentioning Sandpit's gem along with This. Sometimes people need to be reminded how ridiculous they sound.

So true so true. I am learning though! A person just needs to calm down and think rationaly.

So instead of asking for something to be removed try posting on what the issue is and how it can be fixed in a constructive manner. If you have an idea for a fix or revamp of something then post THAT instead of calling for a complete removal of something

This is one of the most sensible post's I've seen from you. And it's great!

:) Now when people follow your directions, could you give them a break even if you disagree?

The thing is even though I don't agree with a lot of the ideas and suggestions those are a hundred times better than jumping up and down because a player got mad screaming "remove this arrrghhh"
I've thought about starting a "nerf this" thread just to show a comprehensive look at everything players want nerfed every time they get killed by something. It's another situation where if you look at it individually it doesn't look bad but if you look through and take an entire list of everything currently being listed as "op"

I don't think I ever berate someone for their opinion. I might not disagree or like it, but they're entitled to it. That doesn't mean everyone has to like it though. When you see me calling someone out it's usually because it's thread #498357493857 on the topic and it's not right to think anyone here should have to weed through 10 duplicate posts (that's a factual number, there were 10 duplicate Ballistics threads on the front page at one time in gameplay balance) just to find other subjects to give ideas and suggestions on.

Tentative suggestion: If the mod's cared about 10 threads on the same topic they could merge/close/redirect discussion.

Otherwise, might it not be indicative of a potential source of problem, even if overblown?

Now, also keep in mind that I'm a total hypocrite, as I'm also happy to argue points of minutia to death on occasion.

lol They don't always catch them. You figure there's a handful of mods to thousands of topics.

I would - but then I would probably get people sending me PM's complaining about me being "another alt" of one or both of you.

Of course - but I get a lot of garbage from players I chose not to hear from anyways
(Here is a hint for those I am reffering to: quoting someone who has admitted to ignoring you only makes you look like a Troll at best)
Why give them more fuel?

.....I may wind up doing it eventually anyways - but probably better to have Roadbeer test the waters first, no?
If nothing else he has a thicker skin.

but but

AC 2 Ghost heat specifically just no make sense :P

Seriously though - Ghost heat for one chassis that can mount 42 tonns of six ac 2's?!

of course that doesn't mean screenshake shouldn't be reduced/not/ ac 2 ghost heat fixed instead/Etc.

It's not a matter of "good idea" "bad idea", it's a matter of be a little more constructive than "i don't like this, remove it"

I've stated before that I don't disagree with everything on that list, just that I disagree with consistently asking for something to be removed because "it sucks"

This thread put a smile on my face. Not 12 hours ago I was complaining to my lance over "A million and a half missiles hitting me and I have exactly zero damage to my right arm and left leg but I've got no engine."

I then went on a ten minute tear about how streaks and standard srm's should only target the ct if that's how lrm's work. Only now do I see the error of me ways. Man oh man is hindsight ever hilarious.

lol I think if everyone just took a minute after getting owned (I get owned on a pretty regular basis) there would be a lot less ranting on here. I've been known to do it myself though and it can get frustrated when you get into an elo and opponent range where you seem to be facing a certain type of enemy and getting blasted by the same weapons over and over again. The good news is, you usually either win enough, lose enough, or group up a bit differently to change what you see on the field

Something that Society and school never taught them to do. This is why we see all this dribble around here, and if you think all the "remove this or this is broke" threads are bad? Try the General Discussion on the League of Legends forums, and you will WANT to come back to these as a safe refuge.
