However, I don't know the mechanics of how it's calculated, therefore, I have no mathematical basis on which to determine it one way or another. It could just be Pgianoia which set in after the stealth CBill nerf.

The main driver in varying XP is Savior and Defensive Kills. At 150/per they can easily be the difference between 1000 XP and 2000 XP. I love it when an enemy drops and I see three Savior Kills pop up because there were three friendlies "in danger."

Any chance your premium time ran out?
Otherwise, if you're averaging 1K XP, in a loss, tell me what you're doing on the coms later.

I understand they want us to transfer XP to GXP via MC... another money grab, but oh well.

My current rotation is. New mech, level it up till basics are unlocked and I have enough XP for elite. Then switch to a +cbil mech to grind out the money I need for my next mech. Rinse and repeat.

The problem is those people with only one 'Mech. I accumulated over 65k XP just grinding C-bills for my next 'mech with my BJ (though that might just be because it took me forever to figure out a build I liked).

The trial mechs are mostly competent builds right now though, so using those occasionally should give folks some variety.
But yes, Untill you get at least 2 different personal mechs, it can be rough.
