Been playing dress up with my Shadow Hawk and damn she's pretty. A little larger than I expected, but a good look'n 'mech none the less.

One thing I noticed is that when I change weapon loadouts the model's geometry and textures change to match the loadout. This is awesome - SUPER SEXY!. SRM2 vs SRM6, count the tubes you can see the difference. AC10 vs Gauss. just look you see it!

This is a fantastic work. Thank you very much PGI artists, and more of the same please.

i think one of the most awesome parts is the rotating UAC/5. really looks cool to shoot and have it revolve to the next barrel

I laughed out load when I spotted this - it's so neat! I wonder if some of the other mechs do it but we can't see the barrels from the cockpit? Although I can't remember seeing this on my Jaegers.

Try all the different ACs on a ShadowHawk. Lots of different effects.

Pretty sure it does it on Jagers too. I also recall my barrels glowing red at some point on Jagers. Not sure if that's from excessive shooting, or getting lasered in the arms.

You know, this might be a bug, but I don't see the recoiling barrels when spectating a Shadowhawk.

Will need to do a bit more analysis.

Tried putting a Gauss on the Shadow Hawk? Looks amazing.

Might need to crank your graphics settings to get this, not sure.

Try this: Put nearly everything out of the Locust 1V, then put in a LB10X. I impressed that this had been implemented (and looks awesome), though it cannot be fielded in a match (not enough free tonnage for engine + heatsinks + 1 to of ammuntion). I am a little bit missing a gauss for the locust, but I'm not sad that the designer doesn't wasted time for this. Thumbs up!

Oh, I didn't used the 100XL for this... my fault! But it still looks fancy!

Indeed. Fine work on the mechs.

Kudos to the devs.

Another cool thing I just noticed the other day while spectating (not sure how long its been around) was that buildings will show some damage when hit. It does seem to fade over time, like the footprints the mechs leave. But I was watching a Blackjack play peek-a-boom, and the corner of the building was showing damage as it was hit.

Now, if we could only stomp cars. :)

The phoenix mechs do look really good and carry a lot of detail. The designers did a great job on them.

The A/C10 barrel on the Shadowhawk looks a bit weird though IMO (from the cockpit view). It looks less like a barrel and more like a black lump.

All the other weapon barrels look good though (especially that UA/C5).

Now, all I need is a module that is a muzzle suppressor so I can see while firing in the Shadowhawk :)

My current fav is a 2 x AC/5 Hawk just for the simple awesomeness in the looks department.

But if you want to go silly.. Toss three AC/2 on it. It simply look adorable.
